We met in October of 2019. Kaitlyn was a sophomore & Ben was a senior at St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. Kaitlyn needed help picking up a piece of furniture and was on the hunt for someone with a truck. One of her volleyball teammates suggested a guy on the baseball team who had a big ole red truck, Ben. Of course Ben was more than happy to help Kaitlyn pick up her new piece of furniture and help her move it into her apartment. A few weeks later, we connected at Austin City Limits Music Festival for a Griz concert and the rest was history! Our first official date was at Peter Pan Mini Golf, where Kaitlyn made a hole in one on the first hole and Ben won the round by one stroke.
