Jackson's Perspective:

I went to a party with some other law students and saw this girl that caught my eye who I hadn't seen before. As I tried to figure out more, I discovered she was a friend of Liv’s who’s my friend Noah’s girlfriend. Before I learned she went to nursing school with Liv, I was sure she was a model.

So, I went over to introduce myself, I don’t remember much of what we talked about because I was just staring at how pretty she was. The next day she followed me on Instagram, and I knew I had to ask her out on a date. Shortly after our first date, I asked her to be my girlfriend because I knew she was special and the rest was history!

Kaitlyn's Perspective:

I had just begun my final semester of IU nursing school when my dear friend and fellow nursing student, Alivia, invited me to a party. Funny enough, Alivia intended to introduce me to a guy who attended law school with her boyfriend, Noah, but God intervened as my eye caught the attention of another very tall and handsome law student from Georgia. It wasn't long before he approached me and we bonded over our shared love for country music.

I soon told my mom about this attractive southern gentlemen I had just met (I know Jackson will love that part).

Fast forward to the next day when I built up the courage to follow Jackson on Instagram hoping that if I initiated the follow, he would make the first move!

You guessed it! He sent me a DM on Instagram and a few messages back and forth until I agreed to our first ever date at Janko's Little Zagreb in Bloomington.

One of our favorite memories from that night occurred after we finished eating and I realized Jackson was about ready to leave a half bottle of wine sitting on the table. Anyone who knows me knows that I wasn't going to allow this to happen. So I quickly poured the rest of the wine in my glass and finished it, setting the tone for our future relationship, Lol. Guess it worked, as we officially began dating shortly after that night on February 2, 2023 and were engaged on April 26, 2024.
