It all started when Nick and Kaitlyn both swiped right on Hinge. It was early spring of 2021, and they were living just blocks apart in Old Town with their friends. Their first date was at a Mexican restaurant called Broken English, a spot that (as Kaitlyn soon noticed) just happened to be kiddy-corner from Nick’s apartment. Coincidence? Convenient? Suspicious? All of the above 😂To be fair, it was the only place with availability after Nick forgot to make a reservation. (Classic move) But first - plot twist. The bill arrives. Nick hands over his one and only card… and it gets declined. Yep. On the first date. So, Kaitlyn handed over her card to cover the bill. The best part? Her card never got charged. So technically… tequila and tacos were on the house! The night turned out great and they laughed, clicked, and eventually wandered down Wells Street for an impromptu bar crawl.They made it “official” on April 16th 2021, and things moved naturally from there. Within a few months, they met each other’s families. But before Kaitlyn met Nick’s, her uncle asked if Nick’s dad’s name was Fred. “We haven’t gotten that far yet,” she laughed. “Let me ask.”Turns out… yes, his name is Fred. And not only did Fred and Kaitlyn’s Dad &amp; Uncle go to St. Rita middle school together, but Fred was a wedding photographer back in the day who actually photographed Kaitlyn’s godmother’s wedding. What are the odds? Small world! 🫶Fast forward to July 2024: Nick and Kaitlyn planned a two-week trip to Europe. First stop, Ireland for a friend’s wedding and visiting Kaitlyn's family, then Austria to visit Nick’s cousin. Kaitlyn had a hunch a proposal might happen… but as the days passed and her nails not looking the best, she started to think maybe it wasn’t the time.But Nick was playing the long game. On August 1st, 2024, their final day in Europe, he proposed at a vineyard in Vienna, surprising Kaitlyn with the most perfect moment to wrap up an unforgettable trip. And of course, she said YES!They are so excited to grow their family with Harlow one day &amp; they cant wait to celebrate with all of you!

Our room block is available for a one or two night stay from May 15–17th. To receive the discounted rate of $159 per night, reservations must be made through our booking link. The cut-off date to secure this rate is April 6th, and prices will increase after that date. We have an early check-in time of 3PM. You do not need to pay at the time of booking, so we recommend reserving a room now. You can always cancel later if plans change. If you run into any issues, please feel free to call or text Kaitlyn or Nick.

FOR CEREMONYThe shuttle will leave the hotel at 4PM to arrive at Gaelic Park on time. This will be the only shuttle to bring you to the venue. GOING HOMEWe will have a shuttle from 10pm-2am every 30-45 minutes from the hotel and venue.
