I had been praying for someone like Jordan for a long time and just when I had given up, he literally walked into my life (my dorm room actually!) Jordan, myself, and my maid of honor Jessica were instantly 3 best friends and became inseparable. Jordan used to tell Jessica how he had a crush on me in secret and as soon as he was gone, she would tell me everything!&nbsp;I knew after a few months that I liked him as more than a friend, but I was scared to lose our friendship if things didn't work out.&nbsp;I realized that everyone always tells you should marry your best friend, and that's exactly what happened! We had&nbsp;a whirlwind love story and were madly in love within weeks! We have always had a constant need to be near one another and made it through two summers of long distance. Jordan is the most forgiving person I have ever met and I'll never understand how he can put up with me. There is never a day that goes by that he doesn't make me laugh and I'm so lucky to be able to be my complete self when I'm with him.&nbsp;I have known from early on that this was the man God sent to be my husband and I can't wait to celebrate that at our wedding.&nbsp;Growing in our faith together and ensuring that Christ is the center of our relationship is a priority for us.&nbsp;We can’t wait to get married and pursue our passions side by side (and then have like 12 kids!)&nbsp;We both just feel so blessed that God put us in the right place at the right time and we haven’t looked back since! I CANNOT&nbsp;WAIT to be Mrs. Kasper &lt;3&nbsp;

 





I knew when I went to college that I &nbsp;wanted to meet new people, but little did I know I would meet the love of my life. I walked into Kaitlyn's room one day and suddenly believed in love at first sight. After we went on our first date, it only took a couple of&nbsp;days&nbsp;for me to know that this girl was the one for me. Throughout our relationship, Kaitlyn has made my faith grow so much stronger and has opened my eyes to how great God is. Kaitlyn is genuinely the greatest and most caring person I have ever met. When I went through a rough patch, she was the one who picked me up and pushed me to be a better person. Auntie KK is my favorite side of her and even though it stings when my nieces and nephews run past me to get to her first, I let it slide because she is my favorite person too. I can’t wait to start a family together and watch her be the best mom. There is no one I would rather come home to after a long day. She makes me a better man and I just hope that I can make her as happy as she makes me. I’ve waited a very long time to get to marry her and May 25th is going to be the best day of my life.

My brother Justin has been so helpful throughout my life and is always willing to listen to what I have to say. He is there to give good advice and answers all of my dumb questions when I try to adult. He was my sponsor for confirmation and is someone I look up to as a role model spiritually. He has blessed me with the opportunity to be the favorite uncle to three of my amazing nieces and nephews and has allowed me to be a Godfather. I can’t imagine growing up without Justin and I am so blessed to have such an amazing brother in my life.

Justin Kasper

If Jordan learned anything from the beginning of our relationship, it was that Jessica and I&nbsp;came as a package deal. The three of us were really good friends before Jordan and I&nbsp;ever started dating. He would tell Jessica in secret (he thought) that he liked me and then she would tell me the second we were alone. Jessica even let us use her car for our first date! I honestly can't imagine being where I am today without meeting her. Our high school days were filled with musical practices, soccer and football games (when I forced her to watch me in the rain on the cold bleachers), and gossiping&nbsp;about boys. We worked together as CNAs,&nbsp;were&nbsp;accepted into UW Oshkosh together, were&nbsp;roommates for 3 years, and somehow (thank you Jesus) made it through nursing school together. Every coffee study date, every IV start, every big moment, we have been by each other's side and I'm honored to have her as my maid of honor.&nbsp;

Jessica Whitney

Living in the same room for 8 years, Josh and I are closer than he probably wishes we were. Even when he didn’t want to, we would spend our time playing catch and annoying each other. He has always been there for me, especially when I force him to take me out to lunch or to the Nike store. Whether I’d like to admit it or not, we probably wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for him. When Kaitlyn and I were still just friends, I made a life-changing phone call to Josh to ask him what I should do. He made it simple and asked. “Can you see your life without her”? Obviously we know how that turned out, so I guess what I’m trying to say is- thank you Josh!

Josh Kasper

Jake and I met during middle school football and a special bond that could never be broken was formed. We spent the days playing catch in the street, causing mischief, and playing video games. Throughout high school, we continued to play sports together and grew closer. We chose different colleges, but never skipped a beat when we got to see each other (which of course started with a classic jumping shoulder bump). Jake always gave up his room so we could crash after Badger games and we spent a lot of pubcrawls and Mifflin street weekends together. Jake was the first person to know about Kaitlyn and he got more than one phone call for advice so I wouldn’t sound like an idiot when I was talking to her. We’ve been best friends for so long that I now consider him a brother. 

Jacob Schaller

During middle school, I wanted to hang out with Hayden, so I would bike over to his house eagerly, ring his doorbell, and there would be no answer. After doing this for two weeks straight, he decided to tell&nbsp;me his doorbell was broken. After that, we were inseparable. We were always causing trouble playing ball&nbsp;tag, football, and baseball inside the house. We spent so much time together that my mom would literally get us confused. Hayden has always been someone I can count on and call when I need something. We have each other’s backs and are still just as close as we always were. Plus he’s just as bad at golf as I am, so I always have a drinking partner on the course!

Hayden Vollmer

When Jenna and her little brothers knocked on my door years ago, I never would have expected that I had just met my best friend. All through middle school and high school&nbsp;we were inseparable. We literally lived at each other's houses and had week-long sleepovers. We spent our summers outside, trying to keep ourselves busy in the little town we lived in and our nights watching Grey's Anatomy dreaming of marrying doctors (halfway there).&nbsp;There are very few memories I&nbsp;have growing up that don't involve Jenna and my second family.&nbsp;I am so lucky to have a friend that no matter how far apart we live and no matter how long we go without seeing each other, we still pick up exactly where we left off.&nbsp;

Jenna Reed

Kaitlyn’s maid of honor Jessica, Conner and I randomly sat next to each other during freshman year biology lab at UW Oshkosh. Conner and I knew that Jessica understood this class way better then we ever would, so we stuck with her. That ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve made in college. Conner and I were pursuing the same major and ended up being in all the same classes for four years. We studied like crazy together, took Fortnite breaks, and pushed each other in the gym. I truly appreciate this guy because he puts up with a lot from me. We are both hoping that all of our hard work will pay off and that we both get into Physical Therapy school. He was the very first person I told that I wanted to propose to Kaitlyn and I’m lucky to have found a friend like him.

Conner Funnell

I am very blessed to be marrying into such a great family. &nbsp;Before Jordan and I&nbsp;started dating, he used the fact that he had a baby niece and nephew to get me to hang out at his house. It totally worked. Since I&nbsp;met Jess, I knew we would get along. We love telling our hospital horror stories and being able to relate to each other through medical jargon. The summer before I graduated nursing school, Jordan and I&nbsp;both had internships in Marshfield. Jess and her family opened their doors and let us stay with them for the summer and I will never be able to tell them how thankful I was for that. She has also given me two of the greatest nieces and nephews in the world that I am obsessed with and I love being able to&nbsp;watch&nbsp;them grow. I have always wanted a sister and now, I will&nbsp;finally have one!

Jessica Kasper-Logan

If you ever need encouragement or a reminder that everything will be okay... meet Kristie. I like to think of Kristie as not only my amazing friend, but my life coach. We met during my sophomore year of college on a mission trip in Mississippi. We were serving with His House Christian Fellowship and became friends as soon as we found out we both loved Mariana's Trench. Our friendship turned into evenings praising Jesus and game nights with our boys. I owe a lot of my relationship with Christ to Kristie and will forever be in debt to her. We can spend hours and hours talking and not even realize any time has passed by. She is genuine and kind and knows exactly when I need a text from her.&nbsp;In 2017, I was the maid of honor in her wedding and I'm so happy it's her turn to stand up in mine!&nbsp;

For a long time it was only boys being born in our family...&nbsp;and&nbsp;then came me and Liz. At any family gathering, you will find the two of us together, that's just how it's&nbsp;always been. Two peas in a pod, we spent the years Black Friday shopping and watching Nancy Drew and Mean Girls. We spent countless nights at the hotel with Grandma Mielke and had more choreographed dance routines then I'd like to admit. We enjoy double dating and having Grandma as our 5th wheel.&nbsp;Liz is my longest friend and I&nbsp;am so grateful to have her stand up at the wedding. A while back the two of us&nbsp;tried to crash a wedding, here's to hoping this wedding goes more as planned!

Elizabeth Robins

I wasn’t sure what our relationship would be like when we first met, but I’m happy to say that we already act like brothers. Family vacations on Kaitlyn’s side are always more interesting when Nathan and I are together. Between game nights and pretending we are both good at basketball, we always manage to have fun. I strive to be someone he can look up to (even though he’s a few inches taller than me) and to be a positive role model in his life. I can’t wait until we are officially family and I get the “little” brother I’ve always wanted.

Hailey and I met my freshman year of college through mutual friends from Jordan's hometown. I can't remember when we decided to become such close friends, but I'm so glad we have never looked back! We grew closer over the summers that Jordan and I had our long distance relationship. When I was visiting but he was at work, Hailey and I spent our summers laying in the sun and talking about life. There were many pubcrawls and late nights studying throughout our friendship and I'm so lucky to have her.&nbsp;The four of us have had some of the best double dates and I was luckily enough to stand up as a bridesmaid in their wedding last year! Even though I don't get to see Hailey as much as I'd like, I always know I can count on her to be there for me when I&nbsp;need her.&nbsp;I'm so excited&nbsp;to have her next to me on the wedding day!
