Our dress code is black tie optional. For men, this means if you have a tux, it's your time to shine. If not, no worries! A suit and tie is also a great option. For ladies, we'd love to see your favorite long formal gown. All colors are welcome, except for white, of course.

The formal invitation you receive in the spring will list everyone from your party who we are able to welcome to our wedding by name. Please RSVP accordingly.

Yes! While we adore all your little ones, we've elected to keep our wedding adults-only. We hope that with this advanced notice, parents can make arrangements to enjoy a well-deserved night off.

There are several options you may choose from in order to get to Veritas safely. For your ease and convenience, we will be providing charter buses from our blocked hotel to (and from) our wedding. We strongly encourage all guests to take advantage of this safe, easy, and fun way to get to the wedding! Check back here for the shuttle schedule about two weeks out from the wedding. Alternatively, if you don't plan on drinking, there is ample parking available at Veritas. Please note that ride share apps such as Uber and Lyft are not reliable means of transportation home from Veritas, given its semi-remote location. We would hate for you to be left without a safe way home, so please don't plan on using these!

We have reserved a room block at the Home 2 Suites on Monticello Avenue in downtown Charlottesville. This conveniently-located hotel is just a 5 minute walk from our welcome drinks venue, the downtown mall, and much more! The bus transporting guests to and from Veritas will be leaving from this hotel, so we highly encourage you to stay here or nearby. Check out the Travel tab for more information!

Veritas Vineyard & Winery is located at 151 Veritas Lane, Afton, VA. It is about 30 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville.

Obviously! We will have an open bar at our wedding, and of course, we hope you'll enjoy our venue's amazing wines made on site. If you join us at Three Notch'd on Friday, beverages will be available for purchase from the brewery's full menu.

Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outdoors, so we encourage guests to plan accordingly. Evening temperatures in the Charlottesville foothills average between 70 and 85 degrees.
