Kaitlyn and Orion met one another at Delta Air Lines, on their first official full 'Delta Summer Season' (2017). Orion claims he knew the moment he saw Kaitlyn that he wanted to marry her. Orion would linger Above Wing (customer service areas) pretending to be interested in learning gate agent duties. Orion quickly revealed to Kaitlyn that he had only good intentions and was actually, "a hopeless romantic". Kaitlyn just couldn't resist. In about 5 seconds they were in love and inseparable. Kaitlyn would often skip her college classes to be able to spend time with Orion in parking lots, or at various place around the UAA campus; while Orion would work, drive to see Kaitlyn, and go back to work without getting any sleep between shifts. Unfortunately, by the end of 2017, the two would not be able to stay together (long boring irrelevant story).

3 years would go by and yet the two still loved one another very much. Kaitlyn did her best to avoid Orion (knowing that he was her weakness) and Orion did his best to try and make opportunities to get Kaitlyn back. When COVID happened Kaitlyn volunteered to take LOA, like many other agents. Above wing operations were so short staffed that they not only had to call those on leave back, but have the rampers (like Orion), work at the ticket counter.

Although the two hadn't seen much of one another over the past 3 years, it was like no time had past when they started working together again. They both understood that they deeply loved one another and decided at the very least to try and be friends (Orion actually never intended to JUST be friends). Through conversation the two reminisced on the past, while coming at life and each other with new maturity and understanding. The two seamlessly fell back in place with one another. They began 'officially' dating again on September 19th 2020 and have been together ever since.

On April 2nd 2021, Orion signed the lease and officially moved in with Kaitlyn. Orion quickly got accustomed to domestic life, in which he'd become excited about air fryers and vacuums; and having Kaitlyn as a personal chef. Kaitlyn welcomed having an on-call mechanic, driver, and travel buddy.

Kaitlyn and Orion became the parents of Giza. Orion would now claim he had a 'kid' and ask everyone if they wanted to see her.

In October of 2022, Kaitlyn and Orion would become the parents of Cairo, Giza's biological half sister. Now, Orion asked people if he wanted to see his "kids".

In early 2024, Kaitlyn and Orion decided it was time to legally be responsible for one another. Orion proposed in Chugiak, at Beach Lake; a place they had gone on one of their early dating dates. Obviously, Kaitlyn said yes. (Photos are not correlation to exact dates)
