It all began in 2024 with a simple Instagram follow—Newman followed Kaitlyn, and she asked a coworker if she happened to know him. Turns out that coworker had graduated high school with Newman!A week later, while Newman was visiting family near Tuscaloosa, fate stepped in again when Kaitlyn and Newman matched on Hinge. What started as long conversations across the state quickly turned into something more. Newman and Kaitlyn had their first date in Birmingham on April 19th, 2024—and from that day forward, they never looked back.Bound by a shared love for Jesus, family, and friends, their relationship grew stronger with each passing day.They officially started dating in May 19th, 2024 and over a year later, Newman proposed on June 7th, 2025.***We are thankful for every moment that has brought us together! As we approach our wedding day, we couldn’t be more grateful for each and every one of you. We can’t wait to see what the future holds as we start this new chapter as a family!
