Jackson and I met in Air Force ROTC our Freshman year of high school. We were friends because we had 1 class together every semester and every year of school but never became good friends until our Junior year. Many of our mutual friends suspected there was more to it but we both insisted we were just friends. Fast forward to senior year... We were together ALL THE TIME, and finally one evening Jackson asked me if I would be his girlfriend! Of course, I said yes! Nobody was surprised...

Our relationship developed very quick! In March 2022 I enlisted in the USAF and after graduating, I found out my first duty station would be Minot, North Dakota. I moved there in September and both Jackson and I learned quickly how difficult the distance was.

After my Parents made plans to come visit me for Christmas, Jackson quickly became a part of those plans and surprised me with the sweetest proposal on Christmas morning.
