Jake and I met on Facebook in October of 2020. He came up on my suggested friends and I thought he was cute. We had some mutual friends so I thought it was somewhat safe to add him. He liked a couple of my pictures and I messaged him first on Facebook and we went on a date that week. We started dating on my birthday in November of 2020.

After only 6 months of knowing each other we made a crazy decision and decided to get a puppy. We drove to Memphis, TN to meet the breeder that we got Willow from. Brought her home and Daisy Mae and her have been inseparable since.

In May of 2021 Jake had the opportunity to take a job as a paramedic at Springdale Fire Department. We uprooted our lives and moved to NWA (home for me) where he started at the fire department and I started working at the University of Arkansas as an officer.

Before vacation we met Lauren Eckenroad online and agreed to take pictures with her while in Wyoming. We took an 8 mile roundtrip hike to Delta Lake in Grand Tetons National Park. The hike up was alright but as soon as we got to the top a freak hail storm started. As we were making the hike down we had to stop in a cave and take shelter due to getting pelted by ice. We finally made it down and had to rush back to camp for pictures that night.

After a long day of hiking it was finally time to meet Lauren again for pictures at Mormon row. Mormon row at Grand Tetons has always been on my bucket list of places to see. Jake had been talking with Lauren and worked it out to where he proposed during pictures.

We will be getting married on October 19, 2024 exactly 4 years later to the date that we started talking. We cannot wait to spend this special day with you!
