In 2021, Kaitlynd started to attend church at Faith Assemblies in Hazleton full-time again. Here, she met Ethan in the Young Adults group. It started as harmless fun, several requests for coffee (which were declined; "I don't like coffee"), and a last-minute road trip to West Virginia. There was a bee hive incident, a fake boyfriend, and 4-hours trapped on an icy mountain. At this point in time, the entire YA group was well aware that the two were interested in each other, yet one of them was incredibly dense (Ethan). After much urging and positive pressuring from the YA group, the game of cat and mouse finally came to a conclusion when Kaitlynd needed a ride to the hospital, which the two now joke was their first date. Their first official date was shopping for Operation Christmas Child and later going to Applebees (which is now also an ongoing joke) on November 11, 2022. On November 11, 2023, when asked if she would marry him, Kaitlynd didn't even answer him (how rude!). Several minutes later, after Meiko stopped singing and the stunned silence wore off, she agreed. Now, in 2025, the two are requesting the presence of their dearest family and friends to share in this wild adventure of ups and downs on their wedding day.
