Zac and Kaity met at a Young Adult Bible Study Christmas Party in 2022. Zac was invited to the party by his sister Ashlee who did not realize it was a White Elephant Party. Luckily, Kaity had a spare gift wrapped with a hot pink bag and baby pink tissue paper! The first thing Kaity ever said to Zac was "I hope you can rock hot pink!"

From there the rest is history. They started dating in March of the next year (Zac still thinks he waited too long) and realized they shared a love of the outdoors, good food, sports and their individual relationships with the Lord.

Kaity and Zac got engaged on May 15th, 2024.
