Kala and Brad met at a bar on a karaoke night. Truly an introduction. Brad was not looking for a relationship and Kala was married at the time. Sometime later Brad and Kala met again on another karaoke night, this one much more memorable. Over the next few years the two would flirt and be with each other in an on again off again friendship, as brad was to much of a dummy to see what was right in front of his face. Eventually Kala being the smarter of the two, told Brad that she wanted more and that the two would be able to keep doing the run-around that they had been doing, and so for many they would think that it was all said and done. After a time, which included a pandemic, Brad reached out with no more thought than to check on a friend once the world started to move its way back to normal. It started small, two people just talking and making sure each other was ok, then it became more. The talks became longer the conversations deeper, and the chance at something more than friendship started to grow. Brad eventually wised up and asked Kala on a date. One date became two, two turned into four, two weeks turned into a month.Chaos struck in the form of a tornado, Kala living in a part of town hit hard. Brad stepped up and drove over to pick Kala up and give her place to stay while Bowling Green waited to repair. While Kala stayed with Brad, feelings got deeper, living with one another became second nature, love was there. Once the city was back on it's feet, Kala went back to her home, but not for long before Brad asked her to move in with him. Flash forward, a year together and they tell each other that they love each other. Happy for two, then on year 3; It happens.During there second year together Brad knew that he would propose to Kala and starts looking for an engagement ring, he decided on one, and made a plan on how to get it. Brad's mom is down for a visit and while Kala is in another room, Mom asks son if he is going to make this woman his wife some day, Brad says yes and before he can tell his mother that he is saving up for a ring. She gives him Grandy's engagement ring. Time passes and Brad has the ring sized and gets a plan to propose on their 2nd favorite holiday.A lovey dinner at a fine place and Brad had the ring in his pocket. Several opportunities come and go as every time Brad is about to ask, someone comes and interrupts the moment. Before long dinner is over the two love birds are about to leave the restaurant. Brad made his move then thinking to himself that he would never have the nerve to do so again, if he didn't do it now.Brad acted like he tripped pulled the ring form his pocket and said, "We've had 3 great years, do you wanna go for a lot more?"Kala was in shock for a few, which for the both must of felt like an eternity, but once she realized what had actually happened in that moment, she said "Yes"The two have lived happily together since and now they come upon the time of their wedding, which is 5 years togetherp.s.Neither of us thought this day would ever happen and we are so happy that it has
