Once in a lifetime do you ever find someone who can compliment and anticipate your every move. Someone who is willing to stand 10 toes down, head up, ready for life by your side. This same individual that you would never expect, but God knew. God knew to put you two in the same room, at the same time, for one moment that would project your life forward. Fate brought that moment to us, and we never saw it coming. Here we are, we made it! HOW WE MET:The first time we ever met was actually at the gym, introduced through mutual friends while passing by. Coincidentally, a few weeks later we became coworkers after I was hired on to bartend at Le Papagayo in Carlsbad, CA where Kalani had already been bartending. HOW WE STARTED:Truth be told our story does in fact start out as friends. It began with conversations here and there at work, usually about the gym or life, I even recommend him places to take his dates out and offered my dating advice…lol. Then…all it took was one night out, to totally connect, and experience the spark. That spark, unknowingly, became the backbone of the relationship you all know so well. THE PROPOSAL:The plan was to completely catch Kendra off guard and not show her just how nervous I actually was. I had to break her off the trail of possibilities and curiosity as we were getting closer to the location. So, I started a nonsense argument…genius. Then by the time she could wrap her mind around the truth of what was happening, I was leading her down a row of roses on the beach to a place where my knee would drop and I would ask Kendra, the love of my life, to marry me. -She said yes PRESENT DAY:Fast forward to now, and here we are getting ready to seal the deal! Our love has been tested through many trials of patience, faith, strength and resilience. Through it all, us and our love have persevered. Our journey here has been nothing close to a straight shot. We have grown our family, powered through medic school, and a boat load of other obstacles but NOW we can finally celebrate US and OUR love with our village of friends and family! Our story wouldn’t be, without each and every one of you! We cannot wait to share our special day with you all.
