In the beginning, Jared and Kalea met through their mutual friends Dominic and Hailey Fiore. Their first time ever meeting each other they played one of their now favorite sports, Pickleball. Becoming friends for over a year they started to learn more about each others values and started to think of each other as more than just friends. When he would stay at her house until four in the morning talking with her and when he picked her up from the Morgan Wallen concert and she had toilet paper stuck under her boot, that's when they knew they found the person for them.

July 25th, 2023 Jared officially asked Kalea to be his girlfriend at the Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve. Since then they have grown tightly together and made memories that are unimaginable. The travel bug hit them early on in their relationship causing them to go to places like Mammoth lakes, Puerto Rico, Hawaii. The couple still grows closer to Christ, attends church almost every Sunday and strives to have a strong foundation in their faith. They have truly created an unbreakable bond.

As time went by, Jared quickly realized that Kalea and himself were creating so many future plans that he knew it was time to take the next step. On July 18th, 2024, Jared took Kalea to Santa Rosa Plateau for what Kalea thought was a "Picnic", however, Jared had other plans. Once they "found a spot" Jared got on one knee and asked Kalea to marry him. Without, hesitation she said "Yes!". A few seconds later the parents of both Kalea and Jared came out of the bushes and were able to share the experience with the couple and were able to witness the next step of their lives.
