Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Kacena Farms, 2510 55th St, Vinton, IA 52349. The ceremony and reception will be held inside.
What time should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive by 3:15PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30PM, and we don't want you to miss a moment!
What time does the reception start?
Cocktail hour will begin at 4:00PM, immediately following the ceremony, and the reception will continue afterward with dinner, dancing, and plenty of celebrating!
What is the dress code?
We’d love for guests to dress in rustic elegance — dressy yet comfortable with a rustic flair! Nice dresses, skirts, dress pants or button-down shirts. Nice jeans are welcome! Cowboy hats encouraged after the ceremony too!
Is there parking available?
Yes! Parking will be available on-site near the barn. You’re also welcome to drop off anyone in your party at the main entrance under the covered drive.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We're having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you put phones and cameras away so everyone can be fully present. Afterward, feel free to take all the pictures you'd like during cocktail hour and the reception!
Are there nearby hotels or accommodations?
Yes! We've reserved room blocks at the Cobblestone Inn located in Vinton and Urbana Inn & Suites in Urbana. Find more information about the hotels on the Travel page.
