The bride and groom met by chance on Thanksgiving of 2022. They had their first date on November 26, 2022 after one day of talking.

Their first date was watching the University of Michigan versus Ohio State football game (which U of M won btw) at a local Irish bar and the groom was even able to meet Madison, the Brides pup. To say it went well would be an understatement. Outside of the brides weird goodbye hug it was a perfect date. Easy conversation and sports.

After two dates and one week of knowing each other they decided to make it official in the most typical “Kalee” way possible. After a fun night out with one of the bridesmaids, Kara, in which Brooks kindly joined she said - I don’t wanna see other people, do you? Since then it has been an incredible journey for them.

They met the family and friends a month and a half in. They moved in together after six months in June of 2023. Combining a zoo of very loved and spoiled animals. Brooks being a “cat daddy” brought into the family a loving black cat named Wink, his brother and king of the looks, Radar aka “ray ray”, and our sweet but mischievous Clo aka “noodle”. Madison has been learning ever since how to be a big sister, but it feels like our family is complete.

The couple got engaged on March 16th, 2024 at a wonderful restaurant in Pompano beach called Sea Watch, with a majority of the Brides immediate family present. The groom got exactly what he wanted and the proposal was a perfect surprise for the Bride.

In true fashion for the love birds they didn’t want to wait long to get to the next chapter of being husband and wife and didn’t want to wait a year.
