Ethan and Kaley met working together at Publix in 2019 when they were in high school. She was a cashier, he was a bagger, and they became fast friends. Ethan and Kaley spent many nights at Publix joking around and talking. Ethan asked for Kaleys contact info one night and they continued to talk almost every day.


In 2021, Ethan transferred to a different Publix location and Kaley moved away to go to UCF. They continued to stay in contact and remain good friends over the distance.


In the summer of 2022, Kaley came home from college for the summer. Ethan and Kaley met up for coffee to talk about the newest Marvel movie and they ended up talking for hours. It was after this first meet-up at Starbucks that Ethan realized he had feelings for Kaley and wanted to date her. Over the next month the two started hanging out almost every day. They could be seen going to the gym together, going to Church together, or doing homework together at a coffee shop. Kaley first realized she had feelings for Ethan the day she spilled her smoothie and Ethan showed up at her front door with a new smoothie in hand for her.


On August 17th, 2022, they went on their first official date. On August 18th, 2022, Ethan asked Kaley to be his girlfriend. This was the day before she left to go back to college. The couple started their relationship long distance. Through many Facetime calls and trips to visit each other, the couple quickly fell in love.


Kaley moved back home in December of 2022, after graduating college, and the couple continued to grow closer and closer with their relationship being built on a firm foundation of faith and friendship.


On February 19th, 2024, Ethan got down on one knee and asked Kaley, “Will you be my wife?”
To which, of course, she responded, “Yes!”
