Wedding Updates & Announcements

Given recent events and our need to make adjustments to our plan, we will use this page as another way to keep everyone informed with the most up-to-date information. Please check in here as we provide more updates pertaining to our wedding.

EXCITING NEWS: We've set a date... again!

Hello everyone! We appreciate all of your patience and understanding as we took the time necessary to navigate this challenging situation. While it took some time, we have been working hard to coordinate with the venue, vendors, and others to pick a date that would work, and while it wasn't as easy as we hoped it would be, we have figured it out and are overjoyed to announce our new date!

Please save our date once again and mark your calendars for March 21, 2026!﻿

We hope to see you all there, so we can finally celebrate together! All RSVPs have been removed from the first wedding date so that we can accurately track our guest count. We ask everyone to please update your RSVP once you know whether you will be attending or not. Thank you everyone!

To all of our guests –

I'm sure by now everyone is aware of Hurricanes Helene and Milton and the negative impacts it has had on so many, our beautiful key included. First and foremost, we hope everyone here and your loved ones are all safe and okay.

We have been so excited and have been looking forward to seeing everyone and getting to celebrate our special day with you all. Unfortunately, sometimes things don't go as planned and that's just the way life goes and we deal with the situations as best as we can. That's what we are doing now, and we consider this a good indicator of how married life can be! Nothing is going to stop us though. We have made it through 5 years of long distance, a pandemic, a fire, and now two hurricanes, and we're still standing. We will have our day, and we will all be together raising a toast, but that day will have to wait for now. Right now, we are heartbroken by the state of our key, which has been like a home away from home and holds so many precious memories to us. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this, and we hope to see them come back better and stronger than before.

All of that said, our wedding will be postponed until we know more and everyone has a chance to find some grounding. We are sorry for how this affects all of you as well and any inconvenience this will cause. We understand this situation isn't ideal, but Mother Nature has her own unforseeable plans sometimes. We hope everyone is understanding of the situation, and you are able and find no issues getting refunds for flights and accommodations, and again, apologies for how things played out.

At this time, we are still patiently waiting to know more and then will make a new plan accordingly. We will be in contact with everyone as we figure out details and promise to keep you as updated as possible. As we know more, so will you. Thank you for all of your understanding and support during these difficult times.

Join us for a Welcome Toast

Everyone is invited and we would love to see you there. The Welcome Toast will be held at The Waverly Restaurant &amp; Bar on Manasota Key from 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

The finer details

Appetizers and drinks will be provided. This will be an excellent way to kick off the weekend and to bring everyone together before the big day. We ask that you also RSVP and provide your availability for this event as well. Thank you!

Parking will be available in the Waverly parking lot with overflow parking at the public beach across the street. We do expect the overflow parking lot to be needed.

Max is Nick's younger brother. He currently lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and works as a commercial cybersecurity salesperson with Reliaquest.

Max Davis

Laura is Kaley's friend from college and ultimate travel buddy. She is currently a School Psychology student at the University of Connecticut and is working towards her Master's Degree.

Laura Scarcelli

Will is Nick's youngest brother. He currently attends the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is in his third year. He also has recently entered the sales team and aims to have a career in sales after college.

Will Davis

Noah is Kaley's brother and the one who gave her her love for soccer, and therefore, they grew up playing together and bonding over that. Noah currently lives in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

Noah Brenizer

Colton is Nick's friend and roommate from college. During their time together at the University of Jamestown, the two both played tight end for the Jimmies. Colton now lives and works in West Fargo, ND.

Colton Sandberg

Bailie and Kaley met after college and became fast friends sharing a handful of interests. Bailie currently lives in Holt, Michigan and is an architectural designer at MAYOTTEgroup Architects.

Bailie Walter

Evan is Kaley's cousin and the two have been close friends from the beginning pulling all-nighters playing video games and watching movies when they were younger and still pulling all-nighters to this day whenever they hang out. Evan is currently attending Michigan State University.

Evan Keller

Natalie and Kaley became friends during their time together at Michigan State University. Natalie graduated from the Nursing school and is now working as a nurse in Michigan.

Stumpy's Free Ride is a free golf cart shuttle service for anyone staying on Manasota Key. All you have to do is call (941) 822-1444 and request a ride. Please take a look at the website for more details, shuttle stops and hours, and answers to any questions you may have.

One of our personal favorites! Book a nature or sunset cruise and get a taste of what Lemon Bay is all about while cruising the beautiful waters. Bring your drinks and snacks, sit back, relax, and take in all of the wonderful sights that Manasota Key has to offer, and you'll get the chance to learn some of the history and see some dolphins, manatees, and other marine life as well as breathtaking sunsets!

Connect with the community and nature. Join a yoga session on the beach. All are welcome. This event is friendly to all ages and all experience levels. This class is free (although a $5 donation is appreciated) and takes place every morning, every day of the year from 8:30am – 9:30am. No registration required. Just bring a towel or blanket and enjoy some yoga while looking out at the Gulf of Mexico. It doesn't get much better than that!

Plenty of fun activities to choose from so they are guaranteed to have something for you! Rent a boat and dock at one of the many delicious restaurants. Rent jet skis and get the chance to ride with the dolphins. If you know you want to see dolphins, then try booking their dolphin cruise. If you're looking to get out on the water and be more active, then the kayak or stand up paddle boards are for you.

Rumor is this mineral spring has one of the highest mineral contents for any natural spring in the United States. Take a trip out here to wade the waters while you relax and heal. Not to mention the average water temperature is 85 degrees year-round.

What better way to see the Key that we love so much than seeing it from up in the sky? While you're up there, you might even see dolphins, sting rays, or sea turtles.

Join us on Sunday from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the SandBar Tiki &amp;Grille for live music, good times and a little March Madness. We will have a section reserved for anyone who would like to join in on the fun and continue the celebration for one more day. 

Special music performance 

Country star Matt Stillwell will be performing at the venue for anyone that has any dance left in them or are just looking to listen to some incredible live music. You won’t want to miss it!

Let the March Madness begin! We welcome you to join in with the madness and to represent your favorite college team. Show up in your school colors, wear a basketball jersey, show off your favorite player’s name! And remember, Go Green!
