What should I pack?
We would suggest packing your own toiletries. For clothing - formal wear for the wedding day, pajamas, comfortable/casual clothes for the day of arrival, and a bathing suit! Pack anything you will need to get ready for the ceremony (make up, hair tools, etc)
What Meals/drink will be provided?
We will be providing brunch on Saturday, as well as dinner and appetizers on Friday & Saturday; including champagne, beer, and wine. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions and we will be happy to accommodate. If there is anything else you would like for food or alcohol we recommend purchasing and bringing it with you! Please note - the Vrbo is in a remote area and there aren't many liquor or grocery stores nearby so definitely stop for anything you need before you reach Newry! There are some grocery stores and markets in Bethel, neighboring Newry.
What is the dress code?
For Friday, the dress code is casual as we understand our guests will be traveling to Maine and we want everybody to relax and unwind upon arrival. Saturday, we ask that you wear cocktail/formal attire. We will be taking photos! We also kindly request that our guests refrain from wearing any shades of white throughout the weekend to reserve those colors for the brides. Thank you!
What parking is available?
There is a driveway and two car garage. The garage will be used for the brides and the officiant of our ceremony. We can have no more than 3 cars in the driveway so we ask as many people to carpool as possible.
When & How do we need to RSVP?
You can simply RSVP through text message to either of the brides. Please RSVP no later than July 31st.
Can I bring a +1?
We ask that the only people in attendance are the ones listed on your invitation. Thanks!
Do you have a gift registry?
We will not have a gift registry as we have been living together for quite some time and we are very fortunate to have everything we need already! Please feel free to donate to our house fund in lieu of a gift registry. You can find our home fund under the "Registry" tab.
What is the Itinerary?
Please refer to our home page for the itinerary. Any time not accounted for on our home page is for us and our guests to spend time together, swim in the pool, or do whatever you wish to relax and unwind. As much as this weekend is a celebration of our marriage, we want our guests to enjoy themselves and a have nice weekend vaca away! We are celebrating our guests as much as we are celebrating our marriage!
Am I allowed to take photos during the wedding?
The only time we ask you to refrain from having your phone out and taking pictures is during the ceremony itself. We want everyone to be present and enjoy the moment. We will have a photographer taking photos and do not wish to have cell phones in the background. Feel free to take as many photos you'd like at other times throughout the weekend!
Is there anything else you would like me to know?
We wanted to note that this is a no smoking property - both inside and outside. Please no cigarettes, vaping, etc. This house belongs to a family friend and we want to make sure to treat it with the utmost respect! We trust that us and our guests will drink responsibly and do our best to tidy up after ourselves. We are so excited to celebrate with you all!
I have more questions about the wedding. Who should I contact?
You can contact either Kaley or Taylor directly. You have our numbers!
Should I plan on preparing a speech?
We will not be requiring or specifically asking anybody to prepare a speech, although if you would like to - please do! We would love to hear!
