Alyssa, or as I fondly call her, "sissy" drives this wedding planning party. She can be considered the engine of the wedding bus, while I am the wheels on the bus that get us where we need to go. She has been the BIGGEST help through this process and I am so grateful.Alyssa first heard I was dating Everett while she was "studying" abroad in Spain. She left knowing me as a single lady in August and came back to find me off the market with a new blonde headed boy in December. As quite the shock, her little 16 year old sister was quite serious about her new boyfriend. Alyssa has grown to love, and tease, Everett over the years.My very favorite embarrassing story about my sister is when she was 15. She had a sleepover with all her gal pals and they were feeling like angsty teens that night. Not to be annoyed with their noise, I slept in a room across the house and left my bedroom (right next door to the teenage girl sleepover) vacant. Since her window was completely blocked by pokey bushes, the girls all decided to sneak out my window that night and TP a house of a boy in their grade that lived over a mile away. The neighbors (see Leah Heil's post for more info about the neighbors..) ended up ratting her out the next morning, suspecting I wouldn't sneak out my window and telling my parents they figured she snuck out with all her friends. Her lesson learned -  always put the screen back on the window after sneaking out!

Amanda is my maid of honor, she get's to have a  fancy title too  since my sister is married. Amanda is an ocean engineer working on her masters degree at Texas A&amp;M. She loves bees, the ocean, birds, and plants. She is my counterpart and  lives (too far away) in Houston.Amanda and I first met, unofficially in Calculus I at Texas A&amp;M, but officially in a freshman leadership organization. It unfortunately fell apart before we really got to do anything, but I was lucky to have found my best friend before it did. Beginning with casual library study dates, our friendship grew pretty quickly as we began to morph into the same person. Amanda joined Ev and I on many dates in college, third wheeling at places like Taco Bell, Subway, and the library. The third wheel lasted for a couple years until she finally found a fourth wheel to complete us, which brings me to my embarrassing Amanda story..I can't wait for my wedding speech at this wedding, because oh boy is it going to be a good one. There are various parts of embarrassment that made up the start of Amanda and Ansel's relationship but my very favorite is their "first date" even though they deny it was a date. Amanda had been creepily in love with this boy for a year and a half, and they FINALLY started becoming a little more friendly. Ansel invites Amanda to a movie, just the two of them, and she was so nervous and giddy.  What does she end up doing  for the entirety of the movie? She sits on her hands. We later told her this gave Ansel all the wrong signals and laughed uncontrollably at her. Luckily he was not deterred by these conflicting signals.

Leah Heil has been my longest lasting best friend ever. I like to call her "WeeWee". You can ask her about that nickname if you want, she really likes it. She is a 4th grade teacher in Killeen these days, but the majority of my life she has been one house away. I met Leah in 3rd grade. She was a 4th grader and she had just moved in right next door to my parents house in Keller. We began hanging out with this family sort of regularly, but it wasn't anything serious until her dad tore down part of our fence between the backyards and put a gate in. After that, there was no turning back and we were forced to spend every weekend together from third grade on (fortunately we kind of liked each other). Friday night dinners were a staple, as well as lake weekends and playing card games with the family. The Heil family has spent almost every Thanksgiving with us since they moved next door and are truly part of our family.There are SO many stories I could share about Leah and I. One summer, we camped in my backyard in a tent and brought a fan, an xbox, a TV, lights, movies, and tons of snacks. Our parents visited us in our little tent and then said goodnight. After a few activities, eating some snacks, and watching 10 minutes of a movie, we were hot, heard some noises and went straight inside.

Little miss Leah Wilson will be easily found in the bridal party. She is just shy of  5 foot tall at 4'-11" and is currently in the market for a pair of heels to wear with her bridesmaid dress to put her on the same level as us. Leah currently attends Texas A&amp;M and is getting a degree in nutritional science.Leah is my future sister-in-law but has basically been the little sister I've always wanted for almost seven years now. Watching her go through all the stages of life I did as a middle schooler, high schooler and now college kid gives me all the feels. Two stories for Leah, the first being on my bachelorette party weekend. Don't worry, I'm not spilling any of our secrets here but Leah had at least 13 girls almost rolling on the ground laughing. As we were all walking to our destination in downtown Austin (looking quite fine), I noticed Leah's wedge flopping like a flip flop under her foot. She had no idea this was happening, but I pointed it out and told her that would DEFINITELY not make it through the night. Not 2 minutes later, the whole wedge peels right off the sole of her shoe. All the ladies were cracking up for quite some time but then motherly instincts kicked in and we all gathered to make a game plan. Alyssa came to the rescue and ripped the other wedge off so Leah could sport newly improved flats the whole night. My next mention is that Leah found out only a few months ago that pickles were made out of cucumbers.

You won't meet anyone else at the wedding who smiles and laughs more than Brittany does. She runs her own business and manages employees in College Station, all while raising her little boy (and my ring bearer!).I've known Brittany since high school, but we started becoming friends around our junior  year. We were band kids, but she got to dress prettier than all of us and dance around on the football field in color guard while we marched. We were the cool kids in band, and we had a posse that we still hang out with to this day. How many people can say they still hang out with high school friends?Brittany and I had this tradition our senior year in high school, and it was called "look good Thursday". We declared Thursday the time to not be lazy seniors and actually dress like stylish high school girls. Every week we took a picture, one arm around each other and the other hand on our hip. We posted these pictures on Facebook, bringing on all sorts of awkward high schooler cringe as I see them pop up in my memories almost 5 years later.

Austin lives too far away in Florida, but he gets to be at the "happiest place on earth" every day! He works at Disney World and frequently visits DFW to see his family, which means I get to see him as well. He graduated from SFA as a theater major, therefor making him fully qualified (once he becomes ordained online...) to speak in front of all of you on the big day. He has quite the story to tell about the early beginnings of me and Everett.Our friendship began in middle school band. We both played french horn and Austin used to talk to me constantly in band. My mom always teased me about Austin following me around and told me he must have a crush on me (oh how times have changed). If we rewind a few years, Everett and Austin met in cub scouts in the 4th grade! Needless to say, Austin has known us both for quite some time. Once upon a time I dragged Austin to a country concert with my mom and sister. He was all excited because he got to pretend like he was actually "Texan". We were walking up to our lawn seats and Austin decides he's going to skip the stairs and high step it up a little wall instead. As soon as he does this, we all hear a rip. Austin turned bright red and discovered he ripped his pants right down the middle, leaving a very sizable opening. He went the entire concert and walk back to the car with his boxers showing.
