Where should we stay?
Holiday Inn & Suites Farmington Hills - Detroit NW, an IHG Hotel (33103 Hamilton Court
Farmington Hills, MI, 48334) has a hotel block. There is also a Residence Inn and Courtyard by Marriott in the same parking area.
Where should we park?
Ideally, most people will carpool, and catch the shuttle from the hotel. There is limited parking at the house, in the driveway, neighbor's driveway, and on the grass. Please consider catching the shuttle and parking at the hotel.
What time should we get there?
The first shuttle will drop-off at 4:30 and we ask that no one be at the venue before then, to allow the bridal party time to prepare! Please show up between 4:30 and 4:55 for the ceremony starting at 5 pm. Thanks!! Can't wait to see you.
What should we wear?
Please plan to dress in formal or semi-formal attire. Please wear shoes appropriate for walking in grass (sandals, wedges, block heels, platforms, etc.).
What if it rains?
No worries, the bride and groom have thought ahead! The wedding will be outside either way, so dress accordingly, but in case of rain, the ceremony and reception will take place under a large tent.
Where will we go to the bathroom?
We have hired a restroom trailer that will be parked on the left side of the house (when facing the house from the street). Please walk across the back yard sidewalk, or driveway to access.
Where should we sit?
For the ceremony, you may sit on either side of the aisle, wherever you are comfortable. Please help us get everyone seated by filling in the gaps, and moving towards the middle of the aisle. For dinner, please find your place card for your table number. You may sit anywhere at your assigned table.
How will I get back to the hotel?
The shuttle will be circling back to the hotel as needed, with regualar trips starting late in the evening. The shuttle will end service at midnight.
Can I uber?
Depending on availablity of cars, and your starting location, you should be able to uber to or from the wedding for a reasonable cost. Thanks for staying safe!
