While the wedding will be in Ridgway, we recommend that our guests stay in historic Ouray, just 15 minutes down the road. Ouray is surrounded by mountain views and has a beautiful downtown.
Lodging options range in price and experience—from smaller inns with hot springs to historic landmarks, and of course, camping. Due to the small size of Ouray and its lodging options, we chose not to do room blocks. We hope you find somewhere to unwind that suits your travel needs during your visit.
The Box Canyon Lodge & Hot Springs is Ouray's most popular getaway experience. We offer extremely clean, attractively decorated rooms with a unique rustic flair. Our hot tubs are what keeps our guests returning every year. Utilizing the natural local hot springs, our barrel-shaped hot tubs offer a relaxing and unique experience for our guests. Open all day long, our guests enjoy a beautiful view of the San Juan Mountainside, under a gorgeous sky or a blanket of stars.

We highly recommend flying to Montrose Regional Airport and renting a car from there to drive the 30-45 minutes to Ridgway and Ouray. You can also fly to Denver International Airport, however, DIA is 6+ hours away from our destination.
If you prefer to road trip from Denver, you cannot go wrong with whichever way Google Maps takes you. We recommend stops in Buena Vista, Salida, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park (Via US Hwy 285 S and US-50 W). Or Frisco, Glenwood Springs, and Colorado National Monument (Via I-70 W and US-50 E).
Montrose Airport lies at the base of Colorado's majestic San Juan Mountains, 300 miles southwest of Denver. We are just minutes from spectacular hiking, fishing, camping, golf, skiing, theaters, museums, hotels, and of course, delicious Colorado cuisine.
