Our Wedding

In 2021, Jeff and I connected over a shared love of animals, music, plants, and Star Trek. We met at my favorite Thai restaurant in Valdosta for our first date. Jeff walked up with a unicorn plush toy for Fancy (my fur baby) and a warm hug for our first hello. Little did we know, that was just the beginning of an incredible new journey together! A few months after our first date and traveling to and from Tallahassee and Valdosta to meet, I took a leap of faith (and love) and left my hometown to move to Tallahassee, FL to be with Jeff. Our furry babies were initially unsure about the new people in their parents' lives. But soon enough, they all fell in love too. Our feelings grew stronger with our shared love of friends, family, fur babies, nature, and community. Exploring the wonders of the Florida waterways became our favorite pastime. And what better way to do so than by embarking on boating adventures? Then, one magical November night, beneath a twinkling blanket of stars, Jeff surprised me with THE question. Would I spend the rest of my life with him? His proposal was unexpected. I was speechless. After the moment sunk in, I said yes without hesitation! Together, we have created a home full of fur babies, family, and friends! Our friendship continues to blossom and with each passing day, we learn to appreciate and cherish each other even more. So, here's to swiping right. One simple choice that has brought us (all) together and brought our dreams to life. We are so happy to invite you all to celebrate our wedding day with us as we sail toward a future as bright as the shining FL horizon!
