While Murray might be small, there are some gems we always come back to when we are in town.
For your coffee fix, highly recommend Schaffer's Coffee off of the main square!
For lunch, Dumplins is perfect for sandwiches and salads (but you also have to get a slice of cake too). The Burrito Shack is Murray's version of Chipotle and where a lot of our college lunches were had!
For dinner and/or drinks, our families love The Apple or the Keg, both are a bit more casual, but delish. If you want something a bit more upscale, check out Stephano's Trattoria; while it replaced our favorite college bar, it has great food and a cozy atmosphere. Last, but not least, Murray does have a microbrewery & restaurant that's taken over the old Sears building on the southside of town called, Hop Hound if you're looking for something everyone would like!
Saturday from 7AM - 12PM
Our little farmer's market is something we always look forward to visiting when we come back on the weekends! With delicious kettle corn, fresh produce, homemade jams, baked goods, and crafts, it's a Saturday morning must-do!
About 20 minutes out of Murray is the first bridge into Land Between the Lakes National Recreational Area. The original bridge was built in 1932, but was rebuilt after a cargo ship accident and now has a walking path traveling over the bridge with beautiful views of the water!
Zac and I have had many of dates here, whether a picnic or him torturing me while training for a 5K. It's such a peaceful walk that is fully pathed with play areas as well.
