Our Wedding

You’d think two small-town Idaho kids growing up just 45 minutes apart would’ve run into each other long before our twenties—but nope. Apparently, fate decided to take the scenic route. I was a rancher’s daughter turned future teacher, studying Elementary Education at the University of Wyoming. Tony’s a blue-collar guy through and through—hard-working, good with tools, and always up for anything outdoors (especially if it’s loud, fast, or involves horsepower of some kind). In August 2021, our paths finally crossed in Laramie, Wyoming… at a bar, of course. It wasn’t exactly love at first sight—more like “hey, you’re cute” over a Coors Light. But something clicked, and even after Tony went back to Idaho, we stayed in touch. And by “stayed in touch,” I mean he drove across state lines more times than we can count. Turns out, he was pretty into me. (Can’t blame him.) By January 2022, we made it official during a snowmobile trip to Island Park—(because nothing says romance like freezing temps and engine noise). A little while later, Tony made the big move to Wyoming… though he still somehow landed four hours away. Long-distance, Wyoming style. After I graduated, we bought our first home in Douglas, Wyoming, and started building a life together—with our sidekick Knox, the world's sassiest little toy Aussie who 100% thinks he runs the place. (He kind of does.) We’ve been together for three years now, and on January 1st, 2025, Tony pulled off the biggest surprise of all—he proposed in front of my parents' house back in Idaho, complete with lights in the yard and zero hints dropped beforehand. I didn’t see it coming, which is saying something since I’m usually pretty nosey. We love camping, hunting, riding horses, snowmobiling, and dancing in the dirt at concerts. Basically, if it involves being outside, a little mud, and good company, we’re in. We can’t wait to tie the knot and celebrate with all our favorite people. Come ready to party, and maybe bring boots. (Just in case.)

Western attire is encouraged!Ladies, think dresses and boots (or anything you feel good dancing in on the grass).Gentlemen, jeans and nice shirts are totally welcome—cowboy hats and boots are a bonus! A few things to keep in mind.- The ceremony and reception will be outside—no indoor spaces. - We’ll be in the mountains, and once the sun goes down, it can cool off quick—even in June. - We recommend bringing a light jacket or layer just in case it gets chilly.

Dress Code

Where’s the wedding happening?-We’re getting married on a beautiful ranch in Alpine, Wyoming. It’s about 28 miles up a dirt road through a canyon—totally worth the drive for the views (and the party)! How do I get there?-Once you leave the main road, you'll drive about 15 miles on a dirt road through the canyon. Give yourself a little extra time, and maybe download directions ahead of time—there’s no cell service once you're out there! Is there parking?-Yes! There will be designated parking near the ranch. Just a heads up—there will be a short walk from the parking area to the ceremony and reception, so wear something comfy (heels not recommended!). Is the ceremony indoors?-Nope! We’ll be tying the knot out in the open pasture, surrounded by the mountains. We recommend bringing a light jacket—even in June, it can get chilly once the sun goes down. Can I bring my dog?-We love your pups, but no dogs are allowed at the ranch. Thanks for understanding! Is camping allowed?-Yes! There’s a campground just past the ranch, and a few small pull-off spots along the river on the way up if you're feeling a little more adventurous. If you’re thinking about camping or have any questions about where to set up, please reach out to us directly—we’re happy to help you find the right spot! Are plus-ones and kids welcome?-Absolutely! We’d love for you to bring your partner or your little ones—just let us know in your RSVP. What’s the dress code?-Western attire, please! Ladies—dresses and boots. Gentlemen—jeans and nice shirts (hats and boots encouraged!). And remember, we’ll be in a field, so dress for the terrain. Is the ceremony “unplugged”?-Yes! We kindly ask everyone to put phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We’ve got a photographer capturing all the good stuff, so you can sit back, relax, and soak it all in. Do I need to RSVP?-Yes, please! It helps us plan (and make sure there’s enough food and drinks to go around). RSVP on our website by the date listed. Where should we stay?-There are hotels and lodging options in Alpine, and Jackson Hole is just a 45-minute drive from the canyon if you're looking for more options or a weekend getaway vibe. Where are you registered?-We’re registered on Amazon, or if you'd rather gift us something a little more flexible, you can send cash directly to us via Venmo (details are on our registry page).

Once you leave Alpine, you’ll head up a 28-mile dirt road (Greys River Road) that leads straight to the lodge. It’s part of the adventure—but service in the canyon is very limited, so be sure to download your directions ahead of time.We’ve included a map below to make the route easy to follow.
