Their story began when they met through friends during their freshman year at Texas Tech University. Hayden asked Kalli if she would go to an event with him, and she said yes! After the formal, Hayden got Kalli’s number and asked her to go to a party with him a couple nights later. They got to the party and about 15 minutes into the night, Hayden asked Kalli if she wanted to leave and go watch “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” instead. He had no idea that this was one of her favorite movies at the time. It was in that moment she knew he was a special one.   Shortly after meeting they became inseparable. They spent their days walking to classes together and flying Hayden’s remote control helicopter, and their nights telling each other everything about what made them who they are. He’d share his exact order from his favorite restaurant in the world, Izakay Wa, in vivid detail. She’d share her experience showing steers and explain the difference between a Hereford and a Brangus. Their childhoods were quite different - him growing up in the big city of Houston, and her growing up in good ol’ Hondo Texas. They were obsessed with each other's different lifestyles and wanted to know more and more every day. With plenty of conversation and with the “Secret Life of Walter Mitty” soundtrack playing in the background, they found similarities in the love they had for their families, food, the outdoors, and a mutual desire for adventure.

Soon after meeting and during a ski trip with Hayden’s family, he asked Kalli to be his girlfriend and told her he loved her in the same week! She said yes to being his girlfriend and they remained inseparable until the summer. That summer, Hayden went to Honduras to complete a Divemaster course, and Kalli had committed to being an au pair in Italy. They had to get through 3 months of being apart on opposite sides of the world. They did it with ease and picked up right where they left off upon returning.

Nine years and a dog later, there have been countless adventures together. They’ve canoed the Buffalo River, foraged for mushrooms in Taos, and spear fished in the Gulf of Mexico, but the best thing they've ever done was learn and grow together. The road wasn’t always perfect, but it was full of a pure kind of love and plenty of life lessons. The love they have for each other will continue to mold and shape the rest of their lives, and they want to thank you all of you for being there along the way! Now let's get married and let's party!!

The Falls is a golf resort and country club in New Ulm. Lodging at the falls is just a couple minutes away from the Tschaar's farm where the ceremony will take place, and about 15 minutes from the reception venue! There are limited rooms available. Each room has 1 King bed and a bathroom. This is a great option if you'd like to be as close as possible to all the happenings!

The Grand Fayette Hotel is a small hotel located in Fayetteville - it has 10 rooms and a restaurant on the first floor. About a 30 minute drive from the venue.
