We first met working at Little Caesar's back in 2014. We both had an interest in each other at the time, but the timing just wasn't right. I didn't stay at Little Caesar's very long, so we went our separate ways. A few years later, I was living in Winona and he was still in Mankato. We reconnected online and started talking again in July of 2017. Most of August 2017 was spent driving back and forth to spend time together. We started dating September 2 of that year. I eventually moved back home from Winona with my cat, Paisley. We moved into our first apartment together in April of 2018. We adopted our second cat, Asher, in May of 2018. After a year, we moved into another house in 2019. On July 21, 2019, we went to the Minnesota Zoo to do something fun since we were both working 50-60 hours a week and he proposed! Wedding planning started immediately and we were both super excited. We bought our first home on October 19, 2019.
