Cole and I both being foodies couldn't choose just one plated meal. So we decided to bring in a mixture of our families cultures and traditions with these different food stations: Greek Appetizers- and of course cheese. Idaho Station- think potatoes. Taco Bar- all the fixings.

As many of you know Kaloni &amp; I have been together for a little over eight years. We grew up as good friends, became teenage love birds, moved away to college to become college sweethearts, and now live together in the sunny state of Arizona as the happiest engaged couple. Now eight years might sound like a long time to some of you. However the past eight years have been the most amazing years of my life. I am fortunate enough that every time I close my eyes to give Kaloni a kiss I still get the butterflies as if it where the first kiss sitting on my bed doing "math homework." I think this in itself allows me to rest easy at night knowing that I found my soul mate and true love. Now the fun part; a small glimpse into our love story: My family moved to Idaho the summer after my 6th grade year &amp; I tell everyone it was fate. I say this because Kaloni &amp; I met on the first day of 7th grade. We where in the same PrimeTime (homeroom) class so for the first fifteen minutes of the day we got to catch up on the latest drama going around the school. Well at this time in my life all I really cared about was sports &amp; girls. Being the new kid in school I got a lot of attention for the ladies even though I was standing at a whopping 4'9". Needless to say Kaloni was smart enough to keep me out of her radar all of Junior High.. she thought I was a bad boy:) Bad boy and all she was still one of my friends throughout Junior High and the beginning of high school however she chose to be smart and study on the weekends while I went off and got myself into trouble just about every weekend. It wasn't until the first day of our Junior year that our love story began. We were selected for a leadership class called "Wolf Connection." On the first day of the class while our teacher Mr.Gonser was introducing himself and telling the class what to expect for the year he said something along the lines of "some of you will be friends forever and some of you may even fall in love." Well that line has forever stuck with me because he couldn't have been more right- that day I looked around the room at a room full of pretty young girls and laughed at the idea of love... Little did I know that the I would fall in love the next weekend when our leadership class went up to Bogus Basin for our weekend retreat and I was able to finally see what an amazing human being Kaloni truly is. The day after returning from our retreat Kaloni and I were inseperable, we hung out everyday after school either watching movies or doing "homework." This homework buddy stage lasted for a short four months. Then on December 11th I mustered up the strength to take her up to table rock (our favorite place) and ask her to be my girlfriend. After that day the rest of high school was a big blur. One amazing adventure exploring the mountains of Idaho all the way to the wild weekends partying at our friends houses when their parents where away. Then the day came when we had to start thinking about college... For most couples that are 18 years old talking about the future and college is not easy. For Kaloni and I it was too easy- we knew no matter what we were not leaving each others side. On our first College visit we went down to Arizona to visit Cj (my older brother &amp; best friend) at Arizona State University. It only took two days for Kaloni and I to realize that we had found our home for the next four years.. Now College is where our love for one another grew like a wild fire. We traveled from state to state, we traveled from country to country, we attended the wildest of parties around the world, taught ourselves to be master-chefs, made the best of friends, and enjoyed lazy Sundays watching football. However looking back at all the amazing adventures and experiences we have had there is one thing that sticks out more than any other. My favorite time spent with you is the moments we get to spend alone dancing in the kitchen, practicing our karate moves in the house, doing yoga poses before bedtime, cuddling on the couch, and just getting to be our goofy selves without anyone in the world there to judge us for how weird and crazy we can be at times. It as simple as this; I love you because you are my best friend. Kaloni- I love you more than words can even begin to describe. You are my soul mate, my best friend, &amp; the love of my life! I cannot wait to spend forever with you!

Not many people expect relationships that begin in high school to stand the test of time. But every so often two people grow up with each other, challenge one another, and turn out to be exactly who each other needs. That is what happened with Cole and I. I truly believe that we all have soul mates in this world, I just didn't expect to find mine at such a young age. Cole and I met about 12 years ago at Les Bois Junior High in Boise, Idaho. On the first day of 7th grade, we walked into our homeroom class and decided to sit at the same table group. We instantly became friends. He was the cute new guy and I was attracted to his big blue eyes and long flippy hair. Although we were always in the same friend group, I saw Cole as "not my type". He would talk about how hot girls were and his actions of rebellion and I was the typical goody-two-shoes. Whether I realized it or not, I was always attracted to Cole. At the end of each school year, my sister, cousins and I would go through our yearbooks and put a heart around the BEST looking guy in our grade. Cole always got my heart and yet I would always say, "but he's just not my type." Somehow I always knew he was. We went through our junior high and beginning of high school years enjoying our own experiences, saying a simple "hey" as we passed each other in the hallway and in hanging out with bigger groups of our friends. Junior year of high school a simple twist of fate changed everything for us. We both were enrolled in the school's leadership class, called Wolf Connection. The first meeting we had, our teacher, Mr. Gonser, said to the class, "Welcome to one of the greatest groups of people you will ever be apart of, it's my prediction that at least two of you will date and two of you will get married..." I remember looking around at my class thinking, "that's definitely not going to be me." Little did I know that would all change only a month later. In August, Gonser took our class on a retreat in the mountains. Cole and I quickly became best friends. I saw through all of my preconceived notions of him and he became my rock. I saw the weird/hilarious side, the biggest and most caring heart and the best dance moves in all of Idaho (he had that shoulder roll and shimmy down.) Soon after the retreat, we were inseparable; finding any excuse to hang out with each other. From doing math homework, to my friends constantly asking, "soo do you like Cole?" and me responding with "no were just friends.." To the first time he unexpectedly leaned in and kissed my forehead. Cole continued to open up and showed how much he cared for people and living life to the fullest. I fell in love with his family, (even though CJ hated me at first... but he's like an onion haha) and he fit perfectly in with my family, and when my dad became best friends with him, it was game over. It happened so quickly but I wanted to be in his life forever. On December 11, 2008, he took me up to our favorite place in Boise, Table Rock and he asked me to be his girlfriend. Our experiences in high school, at Arizona State University and finally moving in together only brought us closer as we learned and grew independently but also together sharing the most amazing experiences through a roller coaster of "finding ourselves." We've been together for so long but somehow everyday with Cole is better than the last. It is safe to say that I am and always will be madly, passionately and deeply in love with Cole.

The Proposal

The man of my dreams had just asked me to spend our forever together, on top of Table Rock, where our love story had begun back in our junior year of High School. After 7 years, he brought me back to the same place and told me he could not wait for the infinity more years that we have to come with each other. As a celebration, we were going to meet our parents for a tour of the new building in Boise called Jump. I had been dying to see the inside of it, as Cole's brother Cj, had devoted two years on the building of Jump and it was finally finished! Walking in I had no idea that outside the back doors, l would learn what it truly feels to be overwhelmed with love. We walked outside and the music started. I quickly realized I was in the middle of a flashmob choreographed by Max and Alex! Officially the best day ever. Thank you to everyone for pouring your hearts into Cole and I's relationship. Thank you for being apart of our adventure. Thank you to our both of our incredibly loving families, our college family, friends, my students, our co-workers and to all of the people who have supported us along the way. You have made the ride all that much greater. Thank you Cole for making everyday unforgettable. I am so incredibly lucky to have experienced the last seven years of my life with someone who has made me laugh, shown me how to live, challenged my views, shown me strength in my weakest moments, and understands with perfect clarity exactly who I am. Every day I fall in love with you all over again. You'll always be my forever.

Hi, my name is Kiana Garcia, I am 19 years old, and I am Kaloni's little sister. I am 5 years younger than her but that never kept us from being best friends, she has been my best friend since I was born. As we've grown up Kaloni has always been my role model and now I get to stand right by her side on one of the best days of her life, and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Ever since Kaloni and Cole started dating, way back 8 years ago, I could see that he made her happier than she'd ever been and because of that alone I knew he would be the one for her. My name is Desiree and I am Kaloni's older sister. From the moment Kaloni was born I knew she would bring great happiness to everyone and anyone she met. She was and still is my angel sent from up above, my sunshine and my inspiration. That smile never leaves her face. When I came to Boise to visit and meet Cole for the first time it was immediately a warm and welcome introduction. The reason being is over dinner my Dad brought up this boy named Cole. My Dad had given Cole the nick name "Fairy Boy" If you know my Dad and how sarcastic our family is, you know to get any nick name from him is the highest form of his approval. Cole walked in like he owned the place and never went straight to Kaloni it was always straight to my Dad. For my Dad to approve and be so happy and connect with someone the way he did with Cole immediately let me rest assure to know my little sister was in good hands. As years went on we all realized that Kaloni and Cole were just meant to be. In my opinion there souls met years before they ever did and never parted ways. I am so excited for what magical bliss the both of them are about to embark upon. I look forward to seeing them grow old together.

Hi everyone!! My name is Addison Pennington, I am 18 years old and am lucky enough to be Cole's little and only sister. Growing up with three brothers and being the only girl was definitely fun don't get me wrong but when Kaloni came around she instantly became the big sister I've ALWAYS wanted!Kaloni radiates love, kindness, and positivity in every day life. When Kaloni and Cole first met I was pretty young as you all could imagine and Kaloni really quickly became my biggest role model. Cole on the other hand is not only my brother but my best friend, me and him are very alike in many ways and have always understood each other better than anyone else. My name is Erin Fahey and I met Kaloni and Cole our freshman year at ASU. Kaloni lived just 2 doors down from me in the dorms and we both joined Theta that fall. We awkwardly walked to chapter meetings together for a few weeks, but it only took one SAE wineWednesday for us to all become great friends. I knew right away that Kaloni was some one I would be very lucky to call a friend. And even though I'm writing this as one of her bridesmaids, I'm lucky enough to also call Cole a best friend. Through our four years at ASU, Kaloni and Cole became family to me, and we were basically inseparable. The last two years our 'long distance relationship' has been pretty brutal but they've been my biggest supporters and have done everything from 9 hour time difference skype calls, to surprising me with flights to visit them. We always say "it's not about what you're doing, it's who you're doing it with." These two goons are basically dragging me back to Arizona because life really is that much better with the two of them around! The friendship between Cole and I started when I was in the 7th grade at Les Bois junior high in Boise. Cole was in 8th grade and had recently moved over from Seattle. Cole and I soon started doing everything together. Well not everything…… but you know what I mean. Cole and the rest of the Pennington family have become a huge part of my life and will be considered family to me forever. Cole and Kaloni met when they were in high school and from then on, everyone knew they were meant to be. Looking back at high school, I don't think that there was a day where I wasn't with these two. After meeting Kaloni, I knew that her and Cole would be together forever. Kaloni is one of the sweetest people I know, and I am so glad that she came into the life of Cole (all knowing that Cole flat out got lucky). After high school Cole and Kaloni moved to Arizona, and I moved farther north in Idaho. I don't get to see these two very often anymore, but when I do it feels as if we never skipped a beat. These are two of the most amazing people I have ever met, and am very proud to call Cole and Kaloni two of my best friends. The relationship between these two is one that everyone should strive for. I can't explain how happy I am for them, and how exited I am for their big day. I Love You Both!

Hello, my name is Jake Crawford and I was fortunate to meet the future Penningtons a couple of years ago when me and my wife Katie moved to Arizona. Me and Katie spent four years of our life living in Boise as we both attended BSU for undergrad. Believe it or not, we never met Cole and Kaloni despite sharing a mutual best friend (who I will name because he should be shamed each and every time I tell this story…DAN GOODALE). When we finally were lucky enough to meet Dan's self proclaimed "high-school Jake and Katie", there was a lot of emotion involved. Flash forward about 20 vodka-pineapples and an interesting cab ride later, Katie and Kaloni made sure our friendship started out with a bang.Cole and Kaloni quickly became two of our best friends, showing us there was much more to Phoenix than blazing hot weather, bad drivers, and whip-cream vodka shots... Over the last couple years we have made many memories watching epic Seahawk's games, blasting music on the way to CA, reminiscing about Boise, meeting up for weekly food/game night, and so much more.I am beyond thankful to have met Cole and Kaloni as they are two of the most loving, unselfish, and genuinely kind people I know. My name is Mikealina Mederos, and Kaloni and I first became close about three years ago when she started student teaching for one of my 4th grade teammates. We quickly bonded over the everyday struggles of sculpting young mind, balancing teaching with our party lives, and our obsession with CHEESE! The following year Kaloni and I ironically ended up moving into the same house with three other girls, without even knowing we were going to be roommates. That year that we lived together, brought us closer than we ever could have imagined, and made us realize just how similar we are. We quickly became inseparable and I knew that she was going to be one of my best friends for the rest of my life. Kaloni first introduced me to Cole during an ASU football tailgate and I introduced myself by telling him that Kaloni and I were going to be best friends so he was going to be stuck seeing a lot of me whether he liked it or not. He reacted in typical Cole fashion, being extra nice and nervously laughing because he a part of him thought I was crazy. Over the last two years Cole and I have become very close, and now he's not only marrying my best friend Kaloni, but he has become a best friend to me as well. Kaloni and Cole are the most genuine, kind hearted, and happy people I have ever met. They have the kind of relationship that everyone around them looks up to, and hopes to have one day. Hi! My name is Katie Crawford (Jake Crawford's better half). Although it feels as if my husband Jake, and the bride and groom to be Cole and Kaloni and I have grown up together, we met in January 2015.... finally! I'll start by telling you If ever two couples could be "soul mates" it's the four of us: we've grown up with similar families (amazing ones!), Kaloni and I both have a passion for the classroom (specifically 4th grade) and dancing/cheering, we all share a love for the beautiful Pacific Northwest where we all grew up, we watch the Seahawks religiously, and have a special place in our hearts for the home of the Broncos, Boise Idaho. Jake and I moved to Boise for college the year Cole and Kaloni decided to move to Arizona and we only ever heard of the alleged Cole and Kaloni from our mutual friend Dan Goodale as his "Jake and Katie from highschool" and they only heard about us as Dan's "Cole and Kaloni from College." It turns out we also have similar love stories: High School/ Middle School sweethearts! Thankfully, after our wedding life brought us to Phoenix. I have never told this story to Kaloni, but I remember a specific day a couple of months after moving to the city of the burning sun I was having a rather rough day (I knew nobody) Dan told me about his friend Kaloni that graduated from ASU and how I should look her up on Facebook and message her to hangout sometime. I did in fact stock Kaloni on Facebook and quickly realized first off, she is amazing and secondly...we have a lot of similarities...almost too good to be true...I decided she probably has a lot of friends here and also might think it a little creepy I just Facebook stocked her so I never contacted her, sorry Kaloni! Fast forward to a night right after New Years 2015, Dan (finally) suggesting we go out with his friends Cole and Kaloni while he was in Phoenix, immediately feeling like best friends, a few pineapple vodkas later and here we are! People always say if you are lucky enough to find your soul mate in middle school you're pretty lucky, those love stories are rare. Well, I say if you're lucky enough to have that love story and then meet two people who also share that love story you'reblessed! Here's to you Cole and Kaloni, life-long friends and a lifetime of blessings!

I first got introduced to Kaloni at ASU in our first year of college together. Kaloni and I instantly became great friends and have been since. It wasn't until about 2 years after, that I actually met Cole. Cole was in a rival fraternity of mine, so my perception was that he was a real loser and that Kaloni shouldn't be dating him. Typical stupid rival fraternity mentality. It wasn't until I actually met him at a football tailgate, when Kaloni introduced us, that he turned out to be a great guy and that he and Kaloni were a perfect fit for each other. Cole and I's actual friendship started though when I began to date Mikealina (one of the bridesmaids), who lived with Kaloni and three other girls at the time. As you can imagine, any time you go to a house where five girls live, you need to have some kind of friend there to sit through the madness. I can't begin to tell you how many episodes of "The Bachelor" or "The Kardashians" Cole and I have had to watch in that house together. Cole and I are forever scarred by the amount of girly shows we were forced to watch. But from that, Cole and I really became the best of friends and I am extremely fortunate to have him in my life. Congratulations Cole and Kaloni!! I love you both very much.

Hey everyone, Cole &amp; Kaloni. Where to begin? Cole and Kaloni have been dear friends of mine ever since I met them at ASU(seems to be a trend). Anyways, I originally came out to play lacrosse for ASU, however was happy I decided to join a fraternity as well. Cole was in the fraternity I was rushing and he and I became friends very fast. Kaloni was the nicest girl I think I had ever met and was one of the people you find yourself saying "Did we just become best friends? Yup". I even found myself in a car with Kaloni, Molly, Erin on the way to spring break just recently after I met them all. Let's just say I was happy to make it there alive with Kaloni driving. After many unforgettable trips and memories I realized how much I cherished these two.I worked with Cole for about a year at Untied Rentals and in that time was when the question of the holiday party came up. Cole was so sick of calling Kaloni his girlfriend because he knew she was so much more and was going to be so much more. He told me over lunch that he wanted to marry this her and of course I supported him and was ecstatic to hear the news(saw that coming). Now the hard part, keeping that a secret from Kaloni for the next month over many dinners and football games until he popped the question. Even had me hold onto the ring when it arrived because he couldn't risk Kaloni seeing it.It always seemed to me like these two had it figured out. Cole and Kaloni have been such amazing people and have always made me feel like I was family. I really could not be happier to have met this couple and see them grow. I wish you guys the best and let's get to July already!! Well after the bachelor party of course. I wish you guys could have seen Kaloni's face when she realized that came with the wedding. My name is Sedona Tietjen and I met Kaloni in our freshman year at ASU (give em hell devils!). We were in Kappa Alpha Theta together and we both lived-in our sophomore year just a couple feet away from each other. We had our random run-ins throughout college but we started getting close our senior year with trips to Old Town and Vegas. I luckily had the chance to bring Cole into my life once I started dating his brother, Cj. As time went on I got to know Cole and Kaloni as a couple and boy they are two absolutely perfect peas in a pod! They are the most loving human beings and the type of people that make you a better person just by being a part of their lives. I am so grateful to be able to stand by Kaloni's side on this big day and to eventually call her my sister-in-law! Their love for one another and for life is something to be admired and I am beyond excited to see you two take this next step in life. This is just the beginning and I can't wait for all the memories in the future – I will be here cheering you two on every step of the way.

Hi, my name is Dan Goodale and I have been friends with Cole since 7th grade and friends with Kaloni since elementary school. I met Kaloni first when we were both crossing guards in 6th grade and her little sister Kiana ended up being the 2nd grade study-buddy that I was paired with! We have been friends ever since elementary school and grew close throughout junior high and high school as we were always hanging out in the same group of friends and had a lot of similar interests.We were especially close our junior and senior year of high school and have been ever since. She has always been someone I can go to for anything and we have built and maintained an amazing relationship while she has been away at college and now while she is living in Arizona. No one has a bigger heart and is more caring than Kaloni. Her overall positive outlook on life rubs off on to everyone that is around! Cole is very lucky to have ended up with her I am very fortune and thankful to have her in my life as an amazing friend. I am excited to be a small part of the amazing journey she is about to embark on with Cole!My friendship with Cole started when he moved to Boise in 7th grade. We were good friends throughout junior high school but really became close in high school hanging out almost every weekend my junior and senior year with Ryan Humphrey and the rest of our good friends. We made a ton of great memories in the Pennington's guest house in Boise, as well as Donnelly and McCall taking frequent trips up there in the spring and summer over the fourth of July and dominating the rest of our friends in made up drinking games (Wap it) and launching fireworks way to late in the evening (That was Humphreys idea) Throughout college I always looked forward to the holiday breaks because I knew Cole and Kaloni would be coming back and the good times continued like we had just seen each other the previous weekend. We have shared a lot of amazing experiences and I look forward to sitting with a blue moon in hand like always and making many more just like it as you and Kaloni embark on your new adventure!
