Our story started like a lot of others: Kalyn was Cramer's boss.

Actually,

their story didn’t start there. It began on a snowy day in North Carolina, the

kind that keeps everyone indoors, avoiding the roads to stock up on milk,

bread, and eggs. It was Kalyn’s first day at the Arcadia Student Living leasing

office. Finding the side door locked, she turned and saw a man in flip flops

and shorts- - Cramer, a born Florida man, looking curiously through the NC

snowfall. They exchanged a brief greeting, one neither remembers well, unaware

it was the start of their journey together.

Soon, Cramer landed a job at the leasing office as well, and they quickly became acquainted. Working together nearly every Sunday, they spent time discussing life, joking around, and watching football. Their friendship extended beyond the office as they socialized with friends, explored breweries, and often got into mischief. Soon enough, Kalyn was promoted to Leasing and Marketing Manager, and Cramer to Leasing and Marketing Assistant. They now joke that they work better as a couple than coworkers, but the truth is they've always complemented each other well.

Their friendship continued to thrive until Kalyn took a new job. This now limited their friendship to occasional weekends and brief exchanges. They remember seeing each other outside of their neighboring apartments, only having time to wave at each other while grabbing the mail or at the gym. In this absence, Kalyn realized something important: she missed Cramer. Not just her friend, but Cramer's laugh, calming presence, and sense of humor. She missed him so much that after one long weekend apart, she showed up at his door and kissed him! If you ask Cramer, he will say he always had a crush on her and knew all along she did too.

From there it all changed.

They were inseparable, spending every moment together- days, nights, meals, car rides, movie nights, and ice cream runs. From early on, they knew they had found their forever.

And so here they are!

May it be the stars, fate, the weather, or even the UNC Charlotte admissions office- they were brought together. It was to craft a beautiful tale of love, sacrifice, friendship, loss, and gain. An all-encompassing story everyone hopes to write, but now shared with their soulmate.
