July 16th, 2023- While working the night shift at MetroHealth.

Kalynne and Sam met at the Market C at MetroHealth while both getting late night snacks. Kalynne offered to pay for the snacks, which Sam humbly declined. Intent on paying, she momentarily robbed Sam and payed for his snacks. Slightly embarrassed, she handed him back his belongings and left with her friend Hannah. On their way back to the floor, they passed another officer, Romain. Romain heard of the good intended robbery and got her number for Sam. Sam then asked her on a date, they had a great time and the rest, as they say, is history!

Months later it was discovered that Sam and Romain had picked up overtime that night and they weren’t supposed to be there originally. Now they are engaged and about to be married, was it fate?
