Adam and I met through baseball of course!! Mason played for the organization Adam is part owner of. I was looking for a new batting coach for Mase so I started asking around. My friend Liz sent me Adam’s number and said call him, he’s the best! So…..this love story is partly Liz’s fault! Haha!

I took Mason to Adam off and on for about two years and Adam was so quiet. He said about 2 words to me in those two years. Fast forward a few years down the road and I had posted a picture of Karsyn and I on Facebook and he texted me and told me how beautiful I looked. I actually responded and asked if he had the wrong number!!

We became very close friends after that and would stay up talking on the phone for hours. I shared more with him than I had ever shared with anyone. He instantly made me feel comfortable and gained my trust, which is not easy.

I was not ready for a relationship and I told him that over and over. We finally agreed to meet for lunch thanks to those cute dimples! He talked more that day than I had heard him talk in two years. He asked me on a date after that and I agreed. We had our very first date in Fredericksburg and then I took him to one of my favorite spots down by the river. He was the sweetest, most respectful, and genuine guy I had ever met. I laughed more that day than I had laughed in a long time. We were pretty much inseparable from that day on. He has become an amazing role model for Mason and Karsyn and they both love him so much and look up to him. I thank God daily for bringing us together when I needed him most. He is a huge integral part of me and the kids healing from our past. We go back to Fredericksburg often to keep that memory alive and to remind ourselves where it all started. We love listening to live music together and visiting new places and coffee shops. Thank you to all of you who have been a part of this journey and will continue to be a huge part of our lives together ♥️
