Our Story

Mark and I met each other at Vaughn College on November 4, 2009 due to our mutual love of the New York Yankees. I saw Mark in a New York Yankee’s jacket the day after they won the World Series, and it was love at first sight! The chemistry was undeniable, and we spoke about everything including our love of the game, school and the origin of my beautiful name. He was a perfect gentleman as we walked to lunch. He asked for my number and obliged. I eagerly anticipated his call, however he did not call until 11 PM that night! Though I was disappointed by his tardiness, I couldn’t wait to talk to new best friend. Before we told each other good night, he asked if I would accompany him to the World Series parade in Manhattan. I was flabbergasted, I exclaimed “I wouldn’t miss it for the world”. I skipped school that Friday and we went the parade together. Mark was so smitten with me, he ditched his friends at the parade, and met me under a cherry picker. We have been inseparable ever since. He has been my best and favorite friend, from that day, now and forevermore. Mark asked me to be his wife on a very romantic, rainy February 14, in 2018. I said YES! Nine years after the World Series parade, we are still deeply in love and elated to grow, share and build a beautiful lifetime together.
