Viet and Brendan met sophomore year of college where Viet taught him the true meaning of being a Philadelphia sports fan. Turns out the Philly sports town isn't for everyone...

Eric and Brendan were the only two freshman to make the JMU Club Basketball team back in 2016, followed by being roommates (and friends) for the next 4-years! I think they could legally file joist taxes at one point...

Trenton and Brendan met sophomore year of college when Trent begged Brendan to join his new fraternity. Trent and Brendan would go on to celebrate a Michigan Wolverine National Championship together years later.

Densel and Brendan met freshman year of college. Brendan saw Densel definitely land a backflip. Years later Densel would be the one to teach Brendan how to golf, that's probably why he still can't break 90.

Atlee and Brendan started the same fraternity their sophomore year of college. They often spent their time playing sports and studying the art of beer drinking.

Lee and Brendan met through one of Kamillas best friends Kaleigh. Lee graduated from Penn State and is a huge Nittany Lion fan, it goes to show that nobody is perfect.

There are a lot of hotels in the area surrounding Annapolis. Through our research it seems difficult to get a hotel in the immediate area (most of them require a 2-night minimum stay). However, there are a lot of hotels just 5 miles up the road closer to the Annapolis Mall area, including; Holiday Inn, Best Western, Hampton Inn and Suites, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Crowne Plaza, Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard, and more!If you are curious we are staying at the Graduate by Hilton Annapolis Friday - Sunday.

Hotels in Annapolis, MD

We spent a few hours exploring the distillery. We did not do an official tour, however they do have them available daily. The line was about 40 min to get in. We spent time walking the beautiful property and exploring the enormous gift shop. Being that it is only a 10 min drive from the venue, its an essential stop in Frankfort!

Buffalo Trace Distillery

We had our best Kentucky dinner experience here! The large portions and heavy pours bring Carsons to the top of our list . Its a fairly popular spot in Lexington, so make reservations ahead of time!

Carson's Food & Drink - On Main

We enjoyed breakfast here one morning to discover is was connected to a massive plant nursery! The breakfast and coffee from Sage was fantastic, afterwards we spent a couple hours exploring the nursery and feeding butterflies!

After dinner we walked Lexingtons downtown and found ourselves in Harvey's Bar! The ambiance is rustic with beer garden vibes and the drinks were delicious.

For our last drink of the night we found ourselves overlooking Lexington, we wish we found this spot sooner! The drinks were amazing with live music and stunning views.

We stumbled upon this gem our first morning in Kentucky. Doodles was popping, the food was amazing, the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Highly recommended breakfast / lunch spot.
