Our story begins after meeting on a dating app in August of 2023. Caleb had asked Kamryn to go on their first date to Many Good Things Brewing where they sat and talked for hours. After that first date, they both knew they wanted to pursue a relationship with each other. After several fun dates with each other, Caleb asked Kamryn to be his girlfriend. They quickly became best friends and have been inseparable ever since.

Fast forward to June of 2024. The Scherer family had asked Kamryn to join them on their vacation to Dennis Port, Massachusetts. Little did she know, this would be the place where Caleb would propose. On June 3rd, they traveled to Martha’s Vineyard to explore the island. Their first stop was at the Aquinnah Cliffs. While there, they walked miles down the beach. The goal was to see Caleb’s parents who were standing at the top of the cliffs. When she turned around, Caleb was on one knee asking her to be his wife. Excited to share with her parents, Kamryn FaceTimed her dad. To her surprise, her parents were also at the top of the cliffs with Caleb’s parents. Caleb knew Kamryn would want both sets of parents to share in this special moment. He had planned the most thoughtful proposal by having her parents fly out to surprise her and celebrate with them. It was a vacation that they both will cherish forever.
