Our Wedding

We first met in 2020 at Central College, where Kami was starting her Freshman year and Nick was starting school as a Junior. We sang together in the A Cappella choir and spent hours with friends watching Marvel movies and playing games. We quickly found that Nick, with his calm and composed persona, balanced Kami's loud and fun personality perfectly. By Valentine’s Day of 2022, we had grown close enough that Nick, true to his thoughtful nature, asked Kami to be his girlfriend with a pink sticky note and a bouquet of flowers. That moment started it all. We even managed a long-distance relationship while Kami finished college.&nbsp; Though the college years meant distance, Nick was always there to cheer her on. Whether she was in a play, opera, or singing on stage, he showed up time and again, making every performance feel even more special. Between long-distance calls, weekend visits, and endless Casey's breakfast pizza (and, of course, their mutual obsession with cotton candy ice cream), they knew they were building something special. Then, on a Labor Day weekend walk, Nick pulled out his best 20 Questions strategy, saving the biggest surprise for last. When he revealed his “item” was a ring, Kami, of course, said yes! And here we are, ready to start the next chapter—together, forever.
