<p>Boy is a firefighter and girl is a nurse. Tanner works at the Kihei Fire Station and Kandace works in the ICU at Maui Memorial Medical Center. You would think they met at work or something dramatic/romantic like that, but nope, this was a good old union formed through a dating app called Hinge. </p>

Girl Meets Boy

On 9/3/2023, Tanner took me up 15,000 feet above sea level to the tallest peak in the Alps - Mont Blanc and asked me to be his wife. We almost didn’t make it up there because I was terribly afraid of heights and it was a long way up on a small gondola. Eventually, I faced my fears and made it up there. Little did I know, it was all part of his plan to ask me to marry him. Going up there for me was a testament of our love because I will do anything with this man by my side. I trust this man with my life and this was the easiest “yes” I have ever given.
