Our journey began back in high school in 2014. Kandice and Nigel quickly became good friends, sharing laughs and experiences like any typical high school duo. However, life had different plans, and Nigel moved to Corona the following year. Despite the physical distance, we stayed in touch through social media, sharing updates and staying connected over the years.

Fast forward to February 2023, a seemingly ordinary day turned extraordinary. Nigel was walking to get his mail when he unexpectedly ran into Kandice and her friends. They hugged and caught up for a bit, and that brief encounter sparked something special. Nigel invited her to a show that his band "A Portrait for the Blind" was playing at Packing House Brewery.

That night marked the beginning of a new chapter. They started flirting and dating, and it quickly became clear that this love was different from anything they had felt before. It was genuine, deep, and undeniable.

By October of the same year, Nigel knew he had found his soulmate, and worked up the courage to propose to Kandice. They were both confident that they were the one for each other, and to our joy, she said yes, and now, they are planning their future together.
