Q + A

What is the dress code for the wedding?

You're invited to celebrate with us in formal garden party attire! Embrace the vibrant colors of spring with your outfit. For women, this means elegant, floor-length or midi dresses or pant suits. For men, suits in light shades like gray, navy, or spring blue are preferred, with spring colors incorporated through your accessories. Please try and avoid wearing black. We also kindly request you refrain from wearing denim, t-shirts, or other casual attire.

Are children and plus ones allowed?

We are so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends. To ensure an intimate and joyful atmosphere, we have made the decision to include only the children within our immediate wedding party. To ensure a properly planned event, we ask that only the individuals listed on your formal invitation be in attendance.

Will there be parking and can I park overnight?

There is a small parking lot next to the venue. We will be having a shuttle from the hotel to the venue and after the sendoff as well if this is something you would like to participate in make sure you look on our travel tab. You will NOT be able to leave your car overnight please do not get your car towed.

When should I RSVP?

As soon as possible!! The latest by April 1st (and that is no joke).

What time does the ceremony starts?

The ceremony will start at five o clock in the afternoon please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early to ensure you make it on time.

Can I UBER from the venue?

We highly suggest that you find other means of transportation. Uber is not a reliable source of transportation in Ponder Texas. We will be having a shuttle service please look on our travel tab for more information.

Where are you registered?

We are registered here on the Knot and the registry is listed on our website. We will have a table for cards and gifts if you choose to bring one to the wedding.

How can I say bye to the happy couple on the wedding day?

Feel free to dance the night away, and when you're ready to head out, no need for a formal goodbye—we'll be enjoying every moment on the dance floor! You can text us or leave us a message on our guest book. Thank you.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Our ceremony will be indoors in the chapel on site, the cocktail hour will be a mixture of outside and inside, and then the reception will be in the big barn hall indoors.

Can I take my own photos and videos at the wedding?

We are doing an unplugged ceremony please allow our wonderful and expensive photographer to take all the photos. Whenever the ceremony is officially over, we would love guests to feel free to take photo and video the remainder of the event.
