Jake and I initially met at school in August of 2015 when I had just become a freshman. We hadn’t officially met until October 2015 by a friend of mine that was also Jakes neighbor and somebody he had grown up with. We hit it off and instantly started talking. We started our dating journey on February 9th, 2016 and have since grown together and have been inseparable ever since!

Jake and I decided to take a little getaway trip for my 22nd birthday. We stayed in a covered wagon on an estate that also had a winery. We had a fun day exploring all things they had to offer. After going horseback riding it was time for dinner at the winery. We had done some wine tasting and ordered our food. Jake had then went up to the bar asking for a drink and to order a bottle of wine to go and while he was up there he had the bartender tie my ring on the bottle of wine and bring it out to the table. We were eating while the bartender had brought over the bottle and it took me two glances to realize what was going on. Jake then asked me to marry him!
