Kara and Christian met the modern way: Christian saw Kara at a mutual friend’s party and mustered up the courage to add her on Facebook. Christian quickly wrote Kara a message on Facebook in 2013. Their first date was a bit of a disaster as Christian, and Kara were stranded at Nantasket beach without a ride home. However, their second date went much better as Christian knew he would surely win her over with his great cooking skills, and they’ve been together ever since.

A few of Kara and Christian’s favorite memories from their times together include Attending concerts, cooking, binge watching tv shows, playing video games, and traveling.

Christian had been planning to propose to Kara for a while and had decided that the best place to do it was to be in the presence of family. Christian very nervously got down on one knee to ask Kara, “if she would make him the happiest man in the world” to which Kara replied excitedly, “of Course!!" The ring was placed on her finger, hugs and kisses were shared, and it was an amazing experience.
