Stefan graduated college and moved to Baltimore, but they kept in touch. Kara got an internship that was close to the city, so she would visit Stefan while she was nearby. It was then that they realized how well they got along and what a good match they made. After a few months, Stefan asked Kara to be his girlfriend.

Stefan came to Kara’s college graduation and met her family, and she soon met his.

After spending months apart due to COVID, they took their first road trip together to Asheville, NC and Charleston, SC in the summer of 2020.

At the end of 2020, Kara also moved to Baltimore and they spent even more time together going to Orioles and Ravens games and getting to know the city.

They took their first international trip together to Greece.

They moved into their first apartment together in Locust Point and soon welcomed their adorable goldendoodle Blue into the family.

On Mother’s Day 2023, Kara thought that she was going to her parent’s house in Sykesville for Mother’s Day brunch, but Stefan had planned a proposal surrounded by family and friends. It was the best day!
