Frequently Asked Questions:

Is this a childfree wedding?

It is! We LOVE your little halflings, but our guestlist is small and our venue a bit unconventional. We're hoping the fellow parents in our lives can use the weekend as a fun get-away. :)

Where will I be staying?

This depends on your preferences and how long you can stay! We have gathered the information shared in the RSVPs, and send out information to those who plan on staying on the campground. More information about check-in will be sent week-of. Susie, Joey's mom, has reached out about collecting payment for on-site lodging--reach out to her if you have any questions about that! Other questions about your accommodations can be directed to the bride. :)

If I am staying at the Gold River Camp, what should I bring?

Towels and toiletries for the communal bath house, a camp chair, a lantern/flashlight.

What meals/drinks are being provided?

(Friday 10/10) dinner & drinks, (Saturday 10/11) light brunch, dinner & drinks, (Sunday 10/12) breakfast, dinner. We will also have snacks provided, but we recommend bringing a little extra to munch on! Water and an extra case of beer wouldn't hurt either. There is a grocery store and some fast food options nearby.

Where will we be eating lunch after the hike on Sunday?

Unfortunately we will have to split the party for this quest! Everyone is on their own for lunch, but are welcome to reconvene at the campground afterwards. Here are some good options that are nearby: Bruce's Fabulous Foods, Smokey Que's, Burrito Bros., Link Hot Dogs

Do I need a whimsical outfit for every day of the weekend?

The bride and groom will be in Shire Attire all weekend, but you don't have to be if it doesn't suit you! Just save your most thematic fit for Saturday.
