It all began back in high school, when a mutual friend introduced us during our junior year. What started as a simple friendship quickly grew into something more, especially after we went to junior prom together “just as friends.”That summer, between junior and senior year, we spent more time together and realized there was something special between us. By the first week of our senior year, we made it official: August 30th, 2015, the day we started our journey together.Since then, we’ve grown up side by side, through school, milestones, adventures, and everything in between. In October 2024, during a beautiful trip to Cancun, Mario asked Kara to marry him, and (spoiler alert!) she said yes.Now, nearly a decade after that first prom night, we’re so excited to say I do and celebrate this next chapter with all the people we love most
