Leslie and Kara met in the fall of 2016 out at the Portsmouth Decks. Leslie was grabbing drinks with some fellow teachers at Portsmouth Middle School...one of them being Emily Crane, who happened to be Kara's roommate. Emily had invited Kara to join them on Friday after work and introductions were made.

They hung out with friends a few times but didn't go on their first "date" until March of 2017. Leslie mentioned that he had been going to the Dover indoor pool for lap swim and asked if Kara would be interested in joining.

Kara kicked Leslies' ass in the pool, but he kicked her ass on the ab mats.

They continued their adventure dates after that with runs on the beach and spring dips in the ocean. Leslie really won Kara over when he suggested pancakes for dinner and sneaking into the hot tubs at the Cottages at UNH with some friends.

Kara became a Court St justice with a broken leg in 2018, moving in with Leslie (Greg and Brad!).

In 2019 they made a big decision to move north of the notch to Littleton New Hampshire where Leslie started his new job at White Mountain Regional High School and a new adventure began.

This adventure was filled with mountain bikes, snowboarding and skiing and a lot of river dips. Through the 2020 pandemic, Kara and Leslie continue to support each other and push themselves to get outside more and cook more food!

With a wedding on the way, they can't wait to officially create their family and are excited to spend a lifetime of adventures together.
