Is there a dress code?

Our dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire / semi-formal.&nbsp;Meaning a cocktail dress&nbsp;for the ladies and a suit and tie or a sport coat for the gents.

Are kids welcome?

Although we love your little ones, we thank you for respecting our decision to limit children in attendance to those in the wedding&nbsp;party. We can’t wait to see you there!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is the hotel pet friendly?

Yes, the Colony Hotel is pet friendly at an additional charge.&nbsp; Feel free to bring your furry friend but please, no pets at the ceremony, cocktail hour or reception.&nbsp;

Mike is Vic’s cousin, and the two of them are the eldest grandchildren of the Wesson clan. Mike was literally born so that Vic would have a friend (or so they’ve been told), and the rest of the cousins followed suit. They learned to skate together, spent summers at Mimi’s pool together, played hockey and lacrosse at Andover High together and even swapped roommates (see Kretz below). He’s been there since the start and him being best man isn’t really a surprise.

Shae is Kara's&nbsp;sister.&nbsp; The last 21&nbsp;years we've enjoyed&nbsp;together have been pretty epic.&nbsp; We've spent many years riding horses together and have&nbsp;even competed&nbsp;against each other.&nbsp; In the face of &nbsp;big decisions, Shae has always been there for me.&nbsp; Whether I&nbsp;needed a shoulder to cry on or some sisterly advice,&nbsp; I&nbsp;can always trust that she's going to&nbsp;be there for me and&nbsp;give me honest and thoughtful advice.&nbsp;I couldn't imagine having anyone else by my side during this process and on my big day!

Shae Jackson

Gav is Vic’s cousin. A couple years younger, they became roommates in the final years of the Harvard House after a few pitstops in the woods. To the surprise of most of the family, he went from petting piping plovers in the wildlife reserves of Cape Cod to hitting his Q3 sales numbers in about a week. Now they spend most of the winter weekends skiing and snowboarding together in Vermont.

Kara is Vic’s sister. &nbsp;Kara Jackson met Kara Lanio soon after she started dating Vic. They got along quickly and have spent many weekends together hanging out at the beach, drinking wine, &nbsp;or snowboarding. They also try to get buff by working out together during the week.&nbsp;Kara Lanio is happy to share her name and eventually hand over all of her accounts to Kara Jackson. = )

Matt is Vic’s friend from Andover. They went to high school together, went to college a few miles apart, and after college were founding roommates of the Harvard House. Matt’s usually the one pushing Vic to do Type II fun things. If it weren’t for him, he probably wouldn’t have gone skydiving, hit so many trees snowboarding, or tried downhill mountain biking. It’s always good to have a friend that likes to plan adventures nearby.

Katherine and Kara have been friends for 15&nbsp;years!!&nbsp; They&nbsp; grew up riding horses together and now both live in the same neighborhood&nbsp;of Boston! They gravitate&nbsp;towards each other when seeking&nbsp;advice and pretty much know what the other is about to say before they say it. They have gone on some pretty awesome adventures together over the years - concerts, dog festivals,&nbsp;weekends in Vermont and the Berkshires, and look forward to many more.

Katherine Soule

Whitey, aka “Big Chief,” is Vic’s roommate from BC. Growing up north of Boston, Vic was very suspect of the Long Island native at first. They were both physics majors, when Whitey walked into freshmen Physics with 2 or 3 layers of neon popped collar polo shirts and a waxed blowout haircut (he kind of looked like a preppy version of the bad guy “Syndrome” from the Incredibles movie). Things improved from there. At a party junior year they decided to be roommates, and had a pretty epic finale to college together. He’s still pretty stylish but has toned it down significantly since 2009.

Ashley and Kara have been friends for 13&nbsp;years!!&nbsp;They met at the barn&nbsp;riding horses&nbsp;and spent a lot of time&nbsp;travelling for competitions together.&nbsp; Ashley is by far her&nbsp;most adventurous friend, she has&nbsp;lived in Africa, now in DC, and soon France!&nbsp; But,&nbsp;while shes travelling or living thousands of miles away, she always makes sure to stay in touch with Kara so that they never feel like they are apart.&nbsp; Whether its through Skype, snail mail, or even just a phone call on their&nbsp;walks home from work, Ashley and Kara never feel like they've been away from each other for too long!

Ashley Hoek

Kretz, aka “Medium Sized Chief,” is Vic’s roommate from BC. Vic met Kretz in the waning hours of junior year of college. Kretz doesn’t go many places without his surf board, even if it has to fit inside a small sedan on a 500-mile road trip with 5 people in the car. Kretz also leads the charge on a lot of things that keeps the BC crew together, including hosting the legendary Memorial Day Weekends in the Hamptons and putting serious mileage between the squad’s split home bases in Boston and New York.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Chris Kretzman

Kelsey and Kara met day one of freshman year&nbsp;at Marquette as neighbors in their dorm.&nbsp; They experienced all four years of college together in Milwaukee, from intramural inner tube water polo&nbsp;to their 21st birthdays (which happen to be just 7 days apart), to graduation day&nbsp;and of course&nbsp;all of the Papa Johns pizzas.&nbsp; They recently traveled to San Francisco together where they participated in a taco sampling tour with fellow classmate Kristine.

Kelsey Gehrtz

Luke, aka “The Sloth,” is Vic’s roommate from BC. He likes poetry and accounting. He doesn’t always say much, but when he does he makes it count. He likes to sleep hanging from doorways, and design schemes to convert his mandatory meal plan into thousands of dollars of cold hard cash. On the eve of graduation, he wrote and recited a legendary poem commemorating our senior year that brought Big Chief to tears, but then either lost it or refused to send it to us, so like many things with Luke it has just become part of his legends and lore.

Luke Kosakowski

Kristine and Kara met junior year of college at Marquette through a mutual friend and a mutual love for Spotted Cow and Soblemans.&nbsp; They&nbsp;moved in together senior year into a 6 bedroom apartment called "The Abode" which housed many family taco nights, dance parties, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead viewing parties and studying of course.&nbsp; Kristine lives&nbsp;in Seattle now but they continue to plan trips to visit each other as frequently as possible.&nbsp; Kara and Kristine enjoy eating the snacks out of Bloody Marys together.&nbsp;
