Our wedding will take place at Palisade Basecamp RV Resort and Campground. Guests are encouraged to stay on-site with us for the weekend in an RV, cabin, or tent camping spot. Suggestions for RV rentals (many of which will deliver and set up) can be found in the Q&A section of this website.
Guests who would prefer not to camp are welcome to stay in hotels, AirBnBs, or any nearby accommodation that suits them. Some of our recommendations are below. Please note that parking at the campground is incredibly limited for non-campers. Carpooling and taxiing is strongly encouraged.
The nearest airport to Palisade is Grand Junction Regional Airport. Downtown Grand Junction is about a 20 minute drive to Palisade. Grand Junction is also accessible by train from Denver or Salt Lake City.
Palisade Basecamp RV Resort
Basecamp is our preferred lodging for guests - we want to spend as much time with you as possible! RV spots (RVs not provided, but can be rented - see Q&A’s), tent camping spots, and a limited number of primitive cabins are available. Things to note:
- You must CALL to book! Online booking is not available for this event. 970-462-9712
- Tent and car camping will be permitted in RV spots for this event, but please no camping or equipment on the grass, per campground management.
- Cabins do not have bed linens. Any cabin-dwellers should bring their own sheets/blankets/pillows.
- Though Basecamp usually allows pets, we request that they be left at home (or an alternative lodging) for this event.
Wine Country Inn
We have a small room block at this hotel for Friday and Saturday night which includes daily hot breakfast and one complimentary glass of local wine per reservation. In order to get our slightly discounted rate, you will need to call and let them know you are with the Miller-Peterson wedding group.
Spoke and Vine Motel
We do NOT have a block at this location, but recommend this motel. This is where we stayed the night before moving into our first apartment on the Western Slope. <3
Best Western Grande River Inn & Suites
We do NOT have a room block at this location, nor is it located in Palisade, but it is a slighlty more affordable option a short 15-minute commute to the venue.
