My name is Hannah and I have the privilege of being Kara's younger sister and now future maid of honor. For as long as I can remember Kara has been the most amazing sister anyone could ever ask for in every sense, and I am elated for her and Matt as they embark on this new chapter in their lives. Hi, I am Sydney and I am Kara's bridesmaid! I feel very lucky to be part of Matt and Kara's wedding and I am beyond excited to see them tie the knot! I have known them both as a couple and individually for many many years. Matt and I went to Monterey elementary school and then Oak Bay High together while Kara and I became very close at Oak Bay through the dance program. The three of us spent two years living together which was one of the best experiences! I even got the chance to help Matt with the proposal which was thrill to say the least. Seeing them grow as a couple has been a privilege and a joy and I could not imagine two people more perfect for one another.

I've watched these two grow from high-school sweethearts, to best friends, to world travellers and to now a happily engaged couple. I can quite often be found at Matt's and Kara's place, practically becoming their roommate for the past four years. Kara is an amazing sister and I could not have asked for a better one, Kara is the one person you can always count on for anything you need. That being said, having grown up with two sisters I have always wanted a brother. When Kara brought Matt home to the family I realized quickly how lucky I was to have gotten such an amazing one, even if it was a couple years late.
