We met on a blind date on April 10, 2021 at Cheddars Scratch Kitchen restaurant. Kara changed the location three different times due to the rainy weather. Needless to say, Dennis did not think this date was ever going to happen! After the date, Dennis had a feeling that Kara could be the one since he kept the restaurant receipt until now! We had such a great time getting to know each other that we made plans to meet the very next day.

We would only see each other on the weekends due to Kara's work schedule. We still had fun on the weekends visiting John's Pass in Madeira Beach, FL, playing mini golf, bowling, and going to the beach.

On April 27, 2021, Dennis officially asked Kara to be his girlfriend.

When Dennis first met Kara's parents and sister, Kate at Pia's Restaurant in Gulfport, FL Dennis knocked over his water glass drenching the tablecloth. In spite of Dennis's phenomenal first impression, he still managed to receive the Pellin's approval!

Soon after, we traveled to NY to meet Dennis's family and CT to meet Kara's family. Luckily, we both passed meet and greet test!

When we are able, we really enjoy traveling together. So far we visited Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, Cape Cod, MA, The Hamptons and the Bahamas on a cruise ship. We are looking forward to many more vacations together!

On June 25, 2022, Dennis proposed to Kara at home. Dennis proposed by placing a timeline of events with memorabilia from each date. At one end of the table, Dennis placed the receipt from their very first date. Along the time line Dennis chronologically placed pictures and memorabilia of events and milestone dates. At the very end of the table, Dennis wrote on a sticky note, "what's next?" Kara read the timeline of events and found Dennis in another room on one knee with Ellie (their yellow lab) seated next to him. At that moment, Dennis asked Kara to marry him. Kara screamed, "Yes!" and jumped up and down! What a special for day for both of us!
