After checking into your room, we recommend stopping for dinner at the Graduate’s dining room or one of our favorite local Evanston restaurants, then come back and join us in the Graduate’s lounge for cocktails!

The Dawes House

After the ceremony, we’ll have cocktails, local eats, music and dancing at the Charles Gates Dawes House, the Evanston History Center’s historic house museum at 225 Greenwood Street. Built in 1894, this Chateauesque lakefront mansion was the home of Charles Gates Dawes and his family from 1909 until his death in 1951. Guests are welcome to browse the open exhibits and learn more about Evanston’s history.
