Our Wedding

It all started on April 27, 2019, when fate (Kara’s brother and an instrgram picture of Hunter’s deer) brought us together. After a few conversations, dates to the movies + concerts, and a lot of laughter, we started dating on June 21, 2019. Life threw its curveballs—as it often does—and after 10 months of dating, the world changed with COVID, and so did our story. We went our separate ways, but not without a few attempts at reconnecting. Two years later, Hunter tried again, but the timing still wasn’t quite right. Fast forward 3.5 years, and everything finally aligned. We found our way back to each other, older, wiser, and even more sure. Hunter proposed June 21, 2024 on his property, which was soon to be the site of our new home we were building. Since then, life together has been full of the things we love—deer hunting and fishing, sweating it out at the gym, bonding over ice cream, and cooking meals side by side. Our families mesh perfectly, making holidays, Friday dinners, and everyday life even more meaningful. Kara and Hunter’s love story is an ultimate example that God’s timing is perfect. When you are ready, He will send you the right person. But this isn’t just a love story—it’s a second chance, a full-circle moment, and the beginning of forever. We’re so excited to share it with you.
